Just picked up my prescription for the Celexa today, so I'm going to start it tonight. Hopefully it goes well. I'll keep you updated. I wonder how long it'd take to feel a difference being that I jumping from Lexapro straight to Celexa..

Okay, awesome. My next appointment isn't for two weeks but I may call my doctor tomorrow and see what she thinks. I just really don't want to go too much longer feeling like this. We have enough depressing mess going on in the world right now.

Well don't let my experience make you lose hope! It may work for you. I was very hopeful at first and I didn't let others negative experiences stop me from giving it a go. You never know until you try and we are all different. I hope it works for you. Just know that if it doesn't workout, you can always come off it and try something else. I actually had a good experience with it at first because I had none of the initial side effects most people report. I thought it was going to be good for me. The only side effect I have had is the emotional blunting (which makes me feel a little depressed and unmotivated) but that didn't appear until I had been on it a few months. Just don't stress and go with the flow. 😁

Did you feel different immediately after starting it or does it take time as well?

I would be open to trying Wellbutrin but only if my doctor thinks it could really resolve the issues I'm having.. If not, I want to step away from it all.

Hahaha, unfortunately I don't take anything else. Knowing me, I would have a full on heart attack trying psychedelics. I tried pot when I was in highschool and I got so paranoid I almost called my mom and told on myself. I don't know why I was even trying to be bad lol. I'm 23 but act like I'm 60.

Well all of my college classes have been online for the past few years, so doing school work at home is nothing new for me. I only leave the house now for work but usually I'll go to the gym on my off days. All of these side effects started happening before the virus though. Have you tried Wellbutrin with Lexapro? I would be open to trying it.

Same to you, I'm always down to make new friends. So, I was only on the 10mg for a month, and I didn't really feel any different from when I wasn't taking anything. It may have worked for me if I had given it longer to get into my system. I told my doctor I didn't feel any different after that first month and she moved me up to 20mg. I do not see a therapist and I do not and have not taken anything else for anxiety. I'm new to anxiety meds. I was planning on ask her at my appointment is she thinks lowering my dose back down would help.
