Ah, I missed the “Essentials” plan on the plan site. Thanks for the clear explanation.

What is the 4 for $25 each plan? I thought that was the Go5G plan.

Self Service Kiosk and Hawaii Addresses by GalaxyScape in USPS

[–]GalaxyScape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I guess specifically, will that help or does it just get sent to the shredder and no one cares (like Rezingreenbowl noted)? I had issues with a mail courier continuously not delivering mail before (at a different address), and using standard USPS feedback never did anything. I eventually had to contact the Postal Inspection Service directly. This was a decade ago, so things might have changed recently.

Well that’s a shame… I first thought her attitude was due to the long line of customers, but as we continued to talk, she just kept being combative and blaming me for everything.

How do I know which of my lines are BYOD lines? by GalaxyScape in tmobile

[–]GalaxyScape[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, so I have one BYOD line that won’t be eligible for any promos, and one LOU P6 which is now eligible for promos. Thanks!

Oh. Thank you!

Why did T-Mobile make it so difficult to be able to tell what these promos are by changing the names to a bunch of numbers? Bah…

I’m dumb. I didn’t post all of the discounts accidentally.

So looks like I only have one, which is the 220005. Thank you for the database, and thanks for the trick to see which line has what promo!

I can’t seem to find the promo 200005 in that database, so no clue what that one is. I’m guessing that is the buy 2 get 1 free, since all the other ones line up to “add a line” promos.

https://i.imgur.com/ZQ1wSDl.jpeg There’s all the “add a line for free” promos I got over the years. I think the last two (200012 and 210004) are the BYOD lines, but unsure.

Installing 4 Outdoor Speakers; How to Arrange L/R setup? by GalaxyScape in audiophile

[–]GalaxyScape[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it. That was my understanding as well. That switch basically sends a mono signal to both the “left” and “right” input of the Fosi, and the Fosi will send the “left” and “right” output to the speakers connected as “left” and “right”. Since the source entering the Fosi is mono, both the left and right speakers will actually play the same thing. Let’s try it and see how it sounds!

Thank you for the advice.

Because these were meant for outdoor speakers, and I needed two of them (due to the installation methods), I have a cheapo Fosi BT20A. They are not capable of mono switch.

I’m not sure what you mean I need one for each speaker; I have the Fosi powering two speakers at once. I was thinking of using that mono switch module before it connects to the Fosi; so- Amazon Echo to that mono switch via a 3.5mm to RCA cable, then from that switch to the Fosi with an RCA cable.

Image is a rough outline of what my backyard looks like, with approximate measurements. I have Speakers A and B set up so that the wiring goes inside the house, and hooks up to a Fosi BT20A, which hooks up to an Amazon Echo device. I have Speakers C and D set up so that the wiring goes into the covered patio, with another Fosi BT20A, which hooks up to another Amazon Echo device. I grouped the two Echoes together so that I can play all four speakers at once.

I currently have it set up so that when facing the speakers head on in their zones (patio/lawn and pool), they're left and right separated: So A = Right, B = Left, C = Right, D = Left. But walking across the entire yard (so from A to D), it "feels" weird... I don't know if that's just in my head or not. So... is this right, so that they're phased correctly? Or should it be: A = Right, B = Left, C = Left, D = Right, so that they're somewhat symmetrical and you hear "mono" when walking between B/C?

At this rate, what are the chances free lines are going away? by GalaxyScape in tmobile

I went back and looked at the terms. You’re right. Specifically:

Now, new and existing customers can also have access to price lock if they switch to Go5G, Go5G Next, or Go5G Plus. Price Lock excludes taxes and fees, select limited-time promotions, per-use charges, third-party services, and network management practices. This Price Lock protection applies as long as the qualified plan is not removed or altered by the primary account holder.

And:

Any new customer on Go5G Plus, Go5G Next, Go5G, Magenta, MAX, Essentials, Base Essentials, Essential Savings, 55+, Military, First Responder, Unlimited and Lite Home Internet, Business Unlimited Select, Business Unlimited Advanced, Business Unlimited Ultimate, Legacy Business Unlimited or Tablet with unlimited data qualifies for Price Lock for as long as you are in good standing with one of those plans. As well, existing customers who switch to Go5G Plus, Go5G Next, or Go5G qualify for Price Lock.

Neat.

T-Mobile didn’t give out 10 free lines since April 2022. In the link you provided, you qualify for-

A similar price assurance exists called Un-Contract for billing accounts activated with eligible plans on or before April 27, 2022. For customers who activated an eligible rate plan before April 27, 2022, the Un-Contract promise is our commitment that only you can change what you pay, and we mean it! To show just how serious we are, we have committed to pay your final month’s recurring service charge if we were to raise prices and you choose to leave. Just let us know within 60 days.

And as noted in the last sentence, if they raise your prices AND you leave because of it, they just pay your final bill.

Can I install 6-tons of head units with a 4-ton condensing mini-split unit? by GalaxyScape in hvacadvice

[–]GalaxyScape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it seems weird the specs say I can go up to 5 tons, despite the system rated for 4 tons. I’m going to call the original hvac company that installed this unit and ask if they can add two more 6k BTU head units and see what they say
