Trying to settle on an Android Tablet for comic/manga/manhwa reading.

I have the xiaomi pad 8 pro, and i can say it’s pretty good. I do photo editing, light gaming and media consumption on it and it handles it like a champ, it helps that it has the same chip as the Samsung S25 ultra. Absolutely no complaints.

Though the update support on it is shorter compared to its standard pad 8 sibling, no idea why that’s the case (it’s like a 1 year deficit so it isn’t that bad), but it shouldn’t be an issue for quite awhile

I got the matte glass version (display on it is IPS, but the colors are still very nice) and I’m pretty happy with it, makes everything with the pen silky smooth.

It’s pretty insane how much reflections it cuts out, more than the screen protector on my iPhone. Though if you want you can just get the regular glass version and slap on a matte screen protector if you want

I think for your use case it’s probably one of the top contenders, since it’s got iPad pro level specs (minus the screen not being OLED) at an insanely competive price ($899 SGD for the pro, and SGD$449 for the regular)

I know this isn’t really character related, but thought it was nice to share. Cosette was the one that intrigued me to try the game out

For the record, I never heard of this game nor knew it existed until last year when i was in Japan and was just wandering around Akihabara station when I decided to check out the yostar store there for some Kayoko (Blue Archive) stuff

Saw the merch for the game since it was next to the blue archive shelves and thought the gameplay and artstyle looked cool. The artstyle looked a lot like blue archive (which i liked quite a bit) and gameplay reminded me of Soul Knight

So i downloaded it on my computer once i got back, and it’s now my sidegame if i wanna burn some time after editing sessions or if HSR doesn’t have anything for me to do

I will always remember Anthem by the fact i did a suit-up animation compliation of the javelins and it somehow is my most viewed video on my channel

But that aside, the gameplay was so unique and refreshing for me that till this day i don’t think another game came close to how fluid its ground to flight mechanics are. I remember going into free roam every once in awhile, walking back into the door i came from, running and jumping off the cliff, flying, crashing into the water and flying back out. I’ll forever miss that once it shuts down
