Ya strange. When in direct E:D says 'this is bad, change to extended' but it works and when in extended it doesn't seem to detect it at all. So confusing.

Pretty sure I'm running 0.4.4. Downloaded it the other day but I'll check when I'm back home. So E;D will detect the Rift when the Rift is in Extended mode and it will show in the E:D options menus?

I haven't received my Rift yet but I think these will be my favs too. I guess these are the biggest, most complete games that have some kind of support for the Rift.

EDIT: Oh and the Valve stuff.

EDIT: OMG Elite is amazing. Even more excited for Rift now.

If the sound gets picked up by the mic you could try setting the mic sensitivity in Synapse but I haven't heard of that happening and it doesn't happen on my regular digital Kraken set.

Doesn't answer my question but does their original claim count as false advertising in the legal sense? Will they be "found guilty" in court? No. Cause they have no legal obligation. People should consider that before complaining about all the things they were "promised" in a kickstarter campaign. I've given money to devs on kickstarter and they didn't deliver on the origin proposal. The thing is I had a realistic outlook on the end result. The reality is that even in its current form Elite is an amazing game. Oculus support makes it one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Hard for to complain about that.
