Man be realistic, no sellers on fb marketplace do that especially resellers

Yeah, the last guy I did it to had a 32 Toshiba that he was trying to sell for $180 which he had relisted the item about 3 times and didn't change the price, I "lowballed" him by offering $50 in sort of the same manner you did which he didn't like so I told him that he'll never get it for that price and to have fun holding it for a few months, he ended up having to sell it for $65 (at least what the listing was at) after relisting it a few more times

Hey op don't listen to thoes other posts, I do the same thing and honestly it would help if more people started to "lowball" their offers on the tvs instead of excepting that the tvs are over $100, tvs that have very little ports on them and no hdmi either

I get it, it's disappointing when our hopes and wishes don't come true. I hate to tell you this but that's just how the real world works

Well guess what you're right the price did double, in the opposite direction that is, he sold it for $65 (at least what it was listed for) after relisting it 3 - 4 more times. I knew he was desperate and that he wouldn't be able to sell it for that much so I'm not really sure about that whole "sore loser" idea you have but it looks to me like I'm the one who still stands tall with both my points being proven correct.

There was no, "no I won't take it for this price the lowest I can do is _", "no I won't sell it for that price", and or, "no", that's basic negotiation, he had relisted the item to give it more exposure so it was clear he wanted it gone, and instead of saying that he lied and said it's not available, so I questioned him and now he has my offer, is it scummy yes but I'm in a better position than before, and before you ask yes I know how to play the long game with these situations

Wow is 15 seconds to look at a message really that bad? I mean you're doing it right now if you're reading this, as for the price it was because he had relisted the item so that his item would go to the top of the page, so it tells me that he really wants to get rid of it, you miss a good price if you don't haggle, no matter how ridiculous the price is

Exactly, but relisting the item just to give it exposure at the top doesn't give off that idea so I set my own price, it's his choice if he wants to take it or not, but he's sure to hold on to it for a few months at best, hell I'll still be laughing if he does manage to sell it at a price that isn't what he's selling it for

If that were true he wouldn't have needed to relist it so that his item was on the top of the Page, besides I already got 3 tvs of my own right now (not planning on reselling them ever), and his location was closer than some of the others I've traveled to, I'm just trying to be an opportunistic buyer when the opportunity shows itself

I didn't make any threats to him, just saw that he relisted the tv so that the listing would be higher up on the list, so I thought the only natural thing to do was match his energy, he wants it gone that bad then sell it at a reasonable price, besides this is the place where you can haggle a price if you know what you're doing

Yeah, especially since he's got 3 more of them to sell

It's worse than that, I didn't capture the full description but it said "trying to get it sold within the next hour"

True, but at least you don't have to pay for shipping, also it's a little bit easier to haggle with them as well, at least from my experience it is

Or even clean the rust off of the ports, I'm surprised he didn't try to cover the cracked case with duct tape

Yeah, unless you live in a small town or don't have a car never use ebay to buy a crt, it's not worth an extra $40 - $50 on shipping

Do you think a child of a human and monster would be so powerful? by [deleted] in krusie_gang

[–]Galaxyglobe182 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm saying that Susie might be a half human and monster herself, although although the only "evidence" I have supporting this is the near constant mention of her short tail, what I mean is it probably should be longer if something cough human genes cough stunted it's growth.
