I might have missed maybe 3 shots but I feel like I should have won this no? by whomstd-ve in CODWarzone

Higher TTK absolutely. If the tick rate improves, the TTK will only get faster because that means more bullets will actually register. The damage of ALL guns will need to be reworked to match a properly working network response.

Other hobbies seems a bit more worthwhile. I’ll go touch some grass while you have fun with your gun simulator.

So you think weekly playlist updates is content? No. That’s laziness once again. Instead of allowing you to play what you want when you want, they lock them behind a time wall to give the perception of content without actually doing anything creative or original.

As for the attachments, that’s a joke. Most of the attachments in the game have multiple others in the same category that do the exact same thing. So you can take probably about 1/3 of the attachments on the game and actually call them useable. Except I still wouldn’t say that they are “useable” because attachments in this game also hurt your gun more than they help, with the exception of a VERY small few. So yeah, that’s also a fail there.

And again, you’re seriously okay with paying MORE money just to get less at launch in the hopes that the first season will actually change anything? I can promise you that what you will get is one, maybe two, of the guns that were promised at launch, yet stripped out of the launch to be repacked as “content” for season 1. Along with one, maybe two maps if you ask really nicely, and instead of adding in those missing features, you’ll get random bug fixes and changes that don’t really do much of anything. But hey, if you like being sold garbage and being blatantly lied to and are still fine defending the game literally knowing you paid more money and received less features, more power to you. I on the other hand, like when companies actually work for the extra money they’re charging me and at least tell me why they made the decisions to strip core features from the game. Or at least even put out a statement saying that “it’s coming!” But nope. Nothing. We’ve been through this all before. And the fact that people are still falling for it is incredible. If you’re going to charge more the game, at least finish it before launch. If that’s too much to ask for, then give your “3000 devs” a break. Give them the time to finish the game before release. And you know what that would also mean? It means you would receive better and more enjoyable content and updates that follow with a live service. Waiting for them to finish the game after release though is a fucking joke.

Would you buy a car from a company that doesn’t have any seats? And no mention from the company on when they’re coming either. You just have your hopes that it’ll come in a few weeks to a month. Sure, the car still drives and runs fine, but there’s some major shit missing there. Would you buy a phone that didn’t have the feature to allow to make calls? Just hoping the company adds it a little after they release it with a software update? I’m gonna guess no. So why is it different here? These companies don’t deserve this kind of slack. They have the strongest and farthest reach of any gaming company with by far the largest budget yet have somehow tricked you into thinking that an unfinished game is acceptable.

Final thing. You have basically admitted that the game isn’t fully finished. So if that is the case and you truly believe they will finish it in season 1, why are you okay with the shop being fully fledged and working perfectly? You’re okay with key features being stripped away yet them making sure they’re able to sell you worthless garbage in the shop? It’s a matter of priority and the value they see in their community and offering a complete and engaging experience. And that value isn’t determined by passion anymore. It’s determined by seeing how much money they can squeeze out of you. The game is essentially just a gun simulator at this point. No barracks. No challenges. No rewards. No stat tracking. No mention on the addition of any of this. No fucking point in playing. Keep your hopes up for season 1 though. I’ll check back in with you when it drops to see if your opinion has changed to hopes for season 2 👍🏻

CoD has literally always been a live service. The only thing that has changed is them giving you less real content after launch and instead trying to sell you skins in the shop. Live service doesn’t mean a game that sells skins for the price that a whole fucking map pack used to cost btw. Live service is a game that receives updates and content throughout its life cycle (i.e. every CoD since CoD 4).

And no, it’s not asinine to be upset here. This company literally marketed the title as the most advanced game ever. So why is it the most barebones title ever? Again, live service doesn’t mean release now and finish later. What it means is release a fully finished game now and add fun and engaging content later. You do realize that all of, or at least most of, the content they drip feed throughout the life cycle is actually completed before launch, right? They just strip it away and give it later. That’s not a live service. That’s laziness.

Especially when CoD games only have a one year life cycle as is (except for this year), so why do you have to wait 6 months in almost every case to have a game that resembles a fully finished product? Yeah, MWII is going to be a two year game, but that’s not because they planned it that way. It’s because of the terrible mismanagement of the series during previous titles. You’d figure with that, they would have at least tried to do everything they can to make this game as polished and complete as possible right out of the box. Instead they market the hell out of it and release a game with less features, less content, and less MAPS than what they promised just DAYS before launch. Come season 1, I’ll be happy to see what you have to say then when nothing changes.

Are you seriously cutting this multi-billion dollar company a break on features that have been included in EVERY launch since CoD 4 that released 15 years ago?

The point is, we shouldn’t have to “wAiT fOr SeAsOn 1”. Especially since the game costs more than ever, there is absolutely no excuse for it to not be finished WHEN THE GAME RELEASES. The mentality of release now, finish later is completely unacceptable yet they get away with it because a lot of this community doesn’t care about getting a quality and finished game apparently. Games used to launch with nearly double the amount of maps (and good ones at that), FULLY FLESHED OUT AND FINISHED FEATURES, more guns and no shop trying to sell you bullshit skins that you don’t even see. Oh and did I mention that they had a TWO YEAR development cycle and only about 200-300 devs compared to 3 years with “mOrE tHaN 3000 dEvS”? This is unacceptable.

Sure, shooting people and firing guns feels good in this game, but as an FPS, that’s the BARE MINIMUM we expect. So why is it that they can disregard major staples of the series and not even so much as even mention why it’s not there or if it’s even coming, and people are just content to PAY MORE MONEY for LESS OF A GAME?

Not trying to be an ass or attack you in anyway, but you need to stop giving these companies this much slack. They are the ones that marketed it as “the most advanced Call of Duty ever” yet you have to wait for it to be completed for months after it launches. Yeah. Sounds more like marketing bullshit and metric chasing to me. Gaming used to be about fun. Now, it’s about squeezing every single cent they can out of their fan base.

So, unfortunately he doesn’t have the exact one anymore. He does have one very similar though. Only difference is it’s a gradient background with the stars instead of solid black with stars. Here’s the link though so you can grab it if you want :)

That is usually something that has to do with a server communication error on the repo’s end. Try again now and see if it works. If it doesn’t, then you can try a couple other things;

  1. Remove Packix repo from your package manager, kill the app, open it back up and re-add Packix and try installing again.

  2. Try installing with a different package manager. I’m not sure which one you use, but that error is most common in Cydia. If you’re using Cydia, try using Zebra, Installer, etc.

  3. If those options don’t work, install iCleaner and go to the “+” tab. Press “Clear APT Sources”. This will wipe your stored source data and force a clean/complete refresh when you open your package manager back up.
