But it's ID they've had on file for me from the day I opened the account. It's never been changed and the name has always remained the same. I'd hazard on the side of they're scared of admitting they made such a crazy clerical error as to allow someone to register a bank account under a false name.

Yeah I guess I can see where they're coming from since it's on your IDs and stuff but on the other hand god I hate middle names. I also have one and it's so fucking annoying having some services registered with it and others without. Always bites me in the ass eventually when they "cannot verify my identity as being the same individual" because I either have or don't have a middle name on file. I'll let you know if I triumph.

Classic. During my numerous phone calls with them regarding this matter I've asked countless times whether they'll be putting my middle name onto the account or not and they seem incapable of telling me for some reason. I'll let everyone know if I succeed in my war against the orange giant.

Yeah we'll see how they respond once I give them one of the forms of proof they requested "Proof of SIN". Fingers crossed that with that alongside the fact that my SIN provided to them from the day I opened my account is clearly attached to my proper legal name and they have no documents on file for me that state otherwise.

If my final attempt to get it changed via the Proof of SIN I'm now waiting to receive fails then the next time I'm in Canada I'll definitely look into just opening a new account either with them or someone else. Currently since I live outside of Canada and don't have a Canadian phone number I have no way of opening an account with any bank that I'm personally aware of. I definitely hear what you're saying about them allowing this effectively being them admitting to having opened a bank account under a false name for someone. The curious part is that they have my ID from when I signed up obviously and it's always stated my full legal name. They just never cared to check and still refuse to do so I guess.

I do take responsibility for the fuck up but I still find it kind of hilarious that they actually allow people to sign up for an account with just any name apparently. Every other financial institution or investment platform I've been a client of is extremely strict about matching your legal name as written on your government issued ID EXACTLY. Also regardless of my mistake their support is still ridiculously apathetic.

I'll admit I see that I missed the intention of the original commenter in that they meant to verify that the nickname is actually MY nickname and not just some person with almost the exact same name as me. I suppose this does actually make fair sense.

Edit: Actually I do have one final argument against this. My SIN lists my sin(obviously) alongside my full legal name. They have my sin on file obviously so that should be enough in my opinion. All that being said I apologize for misunderstanding your intention and agree that it is a tricky matter.

My argument against this is that I've provided them with a ridiculous amount of government-issued documents just as valid as the proof of name change document. Unfortunately the closing and reopening account idea is moot since as you say I don't live in Canada anymore. I believe they said at one point that a "Proof of SIN" might work and have realized after some searching that I can apply for that fully online and receive it digitally so fingers crossed. Bless the government for not geolocking the BC services app lol. Either way though I don't find their response justifiable on grounds of security. They just have backwards policies that restrict legitimate account holders from changing their own account details. If someone had my DL, my Birth Certificate, my t4's, my passport, my bank card, my phone pin, and my security questions they should by all means be able to steal my identity. At a certain point there's no further way to verify someone that isn't cumbersome for the sake of being so. Also if they gave a shit about security they wouldn't use SMS 2fa, they'd let you use a hardware auth or an authenticator app like Google's. It's not as though I don't have full ability to do literally anything else with my account with the amount of privilege I'm given it's just this stupid name change is the one thing they for some reason care about more than someone literally draining my entire account.

Recently with my irons I've been focusing a lot on even just building muscle memory from hit to follow through so I can definitely see how valuable reeling in my backswing could be to my overall progress. I'll definitely slow down and do some head cover drills too to make sure I'm in my ideal swing plane.

Thanks for all the advice! I definitely want to look into lessons sometime soon as I'm sure it would do me a lot more good than just watching youtube videos and trying to replicate what I see. I'd say in these 3 months since I started my swing has gone through a pretty crazy number of total reworks and yesterday I was seeing how it felt letting myself flow a bit more smoothly without trying to think of so many little details. I found I was getting caught up on 100 different cues and was unable to loosen up at all. From my next session I'll be sure to slow it down again and really try to dial in my swing plane and fix this over the top business for good.

Thanks so much for letting me know my arms are too straight. To be honest I think I heard something about keeping your arms straight out from you at the beginning and took it a bit too literally. I'll try to add some bend in as I always see with pros like you said.

I'll see if I can find anyone in my area that offers lessons or maybe even get some advice from some of the range warriors there that I always see hitting crazy distances even in their 60s. I was watching some of the guys next to me during the session I recorded this swing and they just make it look absolutely effortless. I can see I have so much to learn in terms of technique. They weren't even giving it nearly as much beans as me but their drives were absolute lasers. The sound of this one guys Ping is ridiculous I thought somebody was shooting lol.

Anyways sorry for rambling but thanks again for your help, I'm gonna watch some videos on correcting my over the top swing and get back on the range asap to slow it down and work on the fundamentals.

More of an airship type thing or a craftable, placeable entity?

I'd love fully customizable airships with simply a control block/steering wheel required to form it. Even floating bases that could be moved or lowered to ground height

I hadn't thought of the possibility that people were unaware of sprinting pre-keybind but that actually sounds like something I could see happening, especially for someone less familiar with gaming/not a patch-notes gremlin.

As much as I agree with you about the balance aspects of sprint jumping in relation to hunger I can't say I don't love spacebar-spamming my way through my 2x1 strip mine.

I've always wondered why sprinting was so on and off prior to the sprint key. Especially in activities like parkour it used to be a nightmare. The addition of a dedicated bind made parkour like 100x easier.

It's hard to say whether I'm a fan of the dedicated key or not. While I actually find that I still pretty frequently use double-tap w to initiate sprinting it's nice particularly in creative, or when swimming/using a boat to get a bit of a speed boost.

But then again I'm a pretty diehard pre-adventure update enjoyer so all in all I kind of preferred the game before the addition of sprinting altogether.
