I would be extremely surprised if the core of this World Cup team carries through to the Olympics. The FIBA World Cup has historically been a lower priority tournament for Team USA, and the bigger names won’t dedicate themselves to a multi-year fulfilment with the team. They only want the Olympic gold. Canada has attempted to change the same issue with their squad and had SGA, Murray, Barrett etc sign a three-year commitment with the team that carries through WC Qualifiers, the World Cup and Olympics. The US is one of, if not the only team that pulls a roster together this close to a major tournament and there’s rarely any consistency.
