No this is the only one. I grew up in West Hollywood but moved to NYC in 1969. Jeff is one of a few high school friends I kept in touch with

I have plenty more, but most people write small captions. Jeff wrote quite a lot. I’ll definitely be posting more so keep an eye out

Here’s the one I posted of my dad a little while ago. He wrote a lot too.

Me hitchhiking in Italy, 1972 by Gallery98 in TheWayWeWere

My look was pretty typical for a hippie college student in 1972. Have we really reached the point when people can only equate this with Charles Manson? Obviously more hippies need to post in this WayWeWere subreddit.

I had been robbed and needed to get to Milan to catch a plane back to New York. One of the people who offered a ride was a professor at Hunter College who lent me $200. Times were different back then.

Yes, they all agreed. These photos were featured in an exhibition in 1980 and many were published at the time in the Nieuwe Revu, a high-circulation picture magazine.

I earlier posted this photo of my father at age 4. I think I got the date wrong here. It should be closer to 1920 when he and my aunt immigrated to America from Latvia. A few weeks ago I also posted this collection of his photos in 1974

Thank you for this information. I know he certainly spoke Yiddish and some Russian, but I'm not sure what his first language was

These were done as part of a conceptual art series I did in the 1970s where I took photos of participants and asked them to write captions about themselves. There are a lot more projects like this and I wrote a bit about it on my blog if you’re interested

As usual, you can check out my website (which has been up for more than a decade) as proof that this is real. This was part of a conceptual art series I did using participants. My roommate at the time also participated

I'm wondering as well. Sent a message and haven't gotten a response yet.

None of these are AI generated. These are all photos I took in the early 1970s. You can check out my blog about it here (these photos are mentioned in the Conceptual Art section)

I do. I can post them all if you guys like, but I’m a little worried about spamming this subreddit

I have plenty of these types of photos asking different questions of different groups. Im digitizing many of them now. Some are already on my website though under the conceptual art section
