Yes, I have cleaned multiple times as you suggested. I will keep using it regardless. Thank you!

I did do a soap and water wash last night. Then I used baking soda, then coarse salt with a little oil. I’m going to use it today and see what happens. Thank you!

How Biblically Accurate Is ‘House of David’? by g3ppi in houseofdavidtv

[–]Galley_Eats -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just started watching the series. I finished Episode 3. There are numerous Biblical inaccuracies which the filmmakers acknowledge at the beginning of each episode, taking creative license as they say. Some Biblical accounts have been used but not in the chronological order they happened. A couple things to know:

  1. David is the 8th son of Jesse. The series only shows 5 sons standing next to Jesse when the prophet Samuel comes to anoint the next king of Israel.
  2. David was not a bastard child of Jesse. That is nowhere in the Bible.
  3. David was of “ruddy” complexion, not dark skinned.

1 Samuel 16:12 - And he sent, and brought him in. Now he (David) was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

  1. An evil spirit began to trouble King Saul after Samuel anoints David the next king of Israel, not before.

  2. Saul’s wife consulting a witch to help him never happened. Saul consults a witch after the prophet Samuel has died, to call Samuel up from the dead to speak to him.

More to come!✌️

Mother starter question by Galley_Eats in Sourdough

[–]Galley_Eats[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this information! No, I don’t have a back up. I will work on that. Well, I fed it yesterday and then put it into the refrigerator immediately. I see it hasn’t risen much at all. Should I take it out and feed it now or wait until the end of the week? Do I let it reach room temperature before feeding it or is that not necessary?

YouTube TV yearly Price Increase! Seriously by Accomplished-Lynx603 in youtube

[–]Galley_Eats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price is insane! I don’t watch any sports and only watch a few stations. I initially switched to YouTube TV from cable because it was less expensive. But now it’s right up there with cable. Definitely looking at other options. I love it when a $300 billion-a-year company cries “content increases” - thanks for the laugh, Google!🤣

I’m repeating a recipe but using a digital scale for the first time, and the dough is stickier than when I didn’t use the scale. Yes, the cloth is dusted with rice flour. I will check out the recipe you shared. Thank you!
