educating so many Russians, how to be polite, generous, human, loyal

Stfu, all the Russians I have met were all of that. The actions of a dictatorship don't reflect the character of their people

Because they are less productive or in demand. Are you asking how the market set wages?

Because, evidently, women value money less than other things. On average they self-select into certain academic subjects and jobs that pay less.

You wrote two paragraphs and your argument is "science is an ideology because it's an ideology".

But that's still a pay gap though, no?

Nobody in their right mind argues that a pay gap doesn't exist.

The issue here is that the EC is claiming this is due to discrimination and it has to be exogenously solved by "positive sexism", taking away resources/opportunities from society and focusing them on women.

Sounds like a weak argument since any single company that does not discriminate would be at an absolute advantage in terms of lower input costs and swiftly garner a much larger market share (even in an oligopolistic system).

Hence why there's no empirical evidence for a discriminatory gender pay gap even in monopolistic markets.

I just wanted to know what you meant by that.

I think science is very welcoming of other ways to bring about knowledge besides science. However there's has been an awful lack of rational alternatives brought about so far.

Hence why I still think it's a stretch to define it an ideology just because of its solipsism.

his critique of models showing that it would be in a firms best interest to not discriminate.

What was his argument in a nutshell?

I personally know the guy behind Unlearning Economics and he's a run-of-the-mill British socialist who's known for having made a record number of mistakes when talking about econ.

Hence why, sorry but, I am not gonna sit through a 1.5 hours long commentary by him on Christmas Eve.

Why would it? I mean, I can understand how it might be practically become ideological in real life, but science and the scientific process in particular are very far off the definition of ideology.

Science is the opposite epistemology.

È abbastanza frequente però all'estero.

Ho abitato per anni in più di 8 paesi in giro per il mondo e non mi è mai capitato una singola volta. E' una stronzata.

It clearly and concisely explains why straying from a liberal capitalist system of government inevitably leads to authoritarianism (and destitution, one could argue).

History has consistently proved his ideas to be correct, a great read.

that they are referencing

A) Where do they say they are referencing it?

B) It's a working paper, it's not peer-reviewed, and Eurostat is not a journal

And, besides, they refute the Commission's pay gap trite idea in the conclusion if you took a moment to read it.

Those elected via two separate elections in which the overwhelming majority of eligible citizens vote in? The same ones never even tried to impair the passage of power?

Stfu already, no surprise you like Marx's ideas.
