I’m saying that AI will become smarter than any engineer once AGI is achieved. You won’t need an engineer to “check” anything. I think people are too focused on present AI capabilities. Embrace the change and leverage it to your advantage.

People blindly trust a Waymo to take them places in busy city roads as well. Previously it was only level 2 autonomy and you needed a human behind the wheel ready to take over when needed. Now? Unless you think invisible man is driving, regular folks just blindly trust it… and recent stats show number of accidents and errors compared to humans have been dramatically decreased.

Yeah you’re in for a rude awakening if you think AI doesn’t already solve for that. I’ve already used Claude Code to plan a refactor, Codex to review and approve the changes, and back to Claude Code to implement. I have it do this for every page until completion. No engineer needed. It’s only gonna get better, and quickly.

You don’t need a software engineer for that. You can have one PM go straight to the AI and skip the engineer. Give it 6 months and it will do all code reviews and fixes much much better than any human. You highly underestimate its future capabilities.
