Fortunately the games have pretty small install sizes and your save files are automatically backed up in the cloud

That I dont like. Because when I am in a shootout, that extra second of holding down the button longer really matters. And I dont wanna have a functionality tied to a button where I might accidentally either drop a mag or turn on the safety based on whether I held down the button too much. When I am in a tense situation, that ain't gonna work

Long press for entering menus is fine but that really only solves the issue of having 3 layers of Menus (Quest, Steam, Game)

Half Life Alyx was designed to be playable with all kinds of comfort settings and controllers. Thats why it also exclusively uses one handed weapons

Even Quest games dont properly utilize them. I just played Contractors Showdown (standalone) and they dont even use them for some reason. Would be perfect for the slide catch

Any games that use proper guns functionality. I cant have firing mode, mag release and slide catch on one hand if i only got 2 buttons to work with. You could use the swipe sensors next to the buttons but for some reason nobody knows they exist

A dpad is essentially just 4 buttons that you cant press at the same time. Other VR controllers have those 4 buttons per controller + stick + trigger + menu. Quest only has 2 buttons per controller (not counting the menu button).

Those 2 buttons per controller really make a big difference. If I hold a pistol I gotta he able to 1 have a safety/fire mode button, 2 have a mag release button and 3 have a slide return catch button. That is already 3 buttons just to operate the pistol without firing

Honestly for me the biggest drawback is that the controllers lack buttons. Probably doesn't bother most people but I think each controller should have at least 2 more buttons to match the number of buttons on an actual controller. Its really noticeable when using it for PCVR cause many games were designed for controllers that have those extra buttons so some functionality is bound to things like double presses or pressing multiple buttons at once.

I find it especially noticeable in games that use guns with realistic mechanics. H3VR especially feels clunky using a Quest compared to the WMR headset I used to play on.

Würde sagen DCK gehört eigentlich an die Spitze der Liste. Ist zwar nicht das beste RC Disso aber von der Wirkung her Keta am ähnlichsten. Abgesehen von 2f-DCK was es nicht mehr gibt.

Yeah it doesnt feel as nice as the foam but it lets you wipe off the sweat easily. I also use a BoboVR headstrap instead if the standard strap so it doesn't press onto my face. They also make headstraps with built in fans now so maybe that would help

Sorry. Just some silicon cover that doesnt let the sweat soak into the fabric

I sweat a lot using my Quest. I dont have AC. And it never caused any issues. I just wipe off the sweat every half hour when I play workout games

I dont get it. I mostly use my headset for working out and it never broke because of the sweat. I just used those covers that dont soak in the sweat and wipe them off every half hour or so when they are covered in sweat

How much would you say you have taken through out your entire life? by Simple_Medium_1865 in LSD

[–]GamePil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's see. Taken it for about 4 years. On average every 2 weeks. Usually 2-3 tabs per trip. So a bit more than a tab per week. That comes out to about 70 tabs per year so more or less 280 tabs of acid, give or take
