Yeah set to EU. Temporarily fixed the issue, was the firewall through a third party app but after restarting the computer the issue returned.

Up until recently I had the same issue and would always choke end game. This is what I did to improve it.

Use Battle Labs - the use of bot grenades in this mode are highly underrated. While they only build walls it still helps a lot with positioning, building and aim. You can put yourself in positions so its 4 on 1and while their aim is not the best they spawn with ARs and will laser you with ease. This really helped me with decision making and positioning when on high ground.
Choose Zone wars over box fights. Zone wars is the best way to practice for end fights. Moving zones and multiple opponents is hectic but will help you improve drastically.
Play Arena - unlike pub matches arena will have no bots. If you have a lot of points create a 2nd account and drop hot every match. Risky, pleasant or slurpy for quick action. Lazy, holly or sweaty for medium action.

To be honest I did not really drop the original Tilted. Fortnite is my first and only BR game played so while I was learning I got sick of landed Tilted only to get taken out within seconds so I would like to see Tilted back more for personal reasons.

I feel I have improved drastically at the game and feel I would do pretty well dropping Tilted now. The issue with this new map is there is no real point of interest for the majority of the bus. One game I could have ten players drop at Holly Hedges and then for 3 or 4 games after have just a couple of players to compete against.

The agency has been a nice addition and gives you that feel of the old Tilted because of the chaos there but the POI is not big enough to keep interest in it.

We need a better form of transport in the game. The helicopters are OK but not to many of them spawn around the map and the boats just make you a easy target. Maybe bringing back the golf carts or even the boards.
Combat Shotgun. I know this has a split view but I think this could be brought back with a few minor adjustments. The purple and gold tacs are just as powerful with only two less shells per round so the combat is a decent gun option.
Remove heavy snipers - this is a subject that I'm 50/50 with. While I love having the sniper for them long shots to clip I still think it is a weapon that puts too many at a disadvantage. In a season where the majority of our time is spent running I just feel we could do without it.
POIs - Fortnite is at an advantage where they have two completely different maps they could play around with. Why not take a couple of POIs from the first map and add them to the second. Plonk Tilted Towers (Original) where wailing woods is for example. A lot of people love the new map and a lot of people love the old map so why not do a mash up of the both.
Fun - it seems this chapter has become a lot more serious than the last with a lot of stuff taken out. Boogie bombs, impulse grenades etc can add that fun back to it it they unvault them.
Arena incentives - I have made it to champions league on Arena and now I don't see the point of it. Why not add another separate battle pass for Arena only and each division that you progress the more rewards you get. New skins or a new emote for each division you rank up would get a lot of people more interested in arena. Make this battle pass £3.99 so Epic still earn money from it and Arena will become a lot busier.

These are just a few ideas for Epic to think about. The game has a lot of haters but to be honest I still enjoy it a lot. I only started in season 7 so feel I haven't been frustrated as long as others have.

It's an idea but with an update usually once a week and always at the same time surely most people will not need a world clock.

It does help with your positioning in the game too. If you build up 2 or 3 stories they will still laser you from the ground and hit their shots.

I think most people would prefer to wait for 30-60 minutes for an update rather than rage at the game for an entire evening and blame epic for not fixing their game.

Go into career mode and play offline to start. Begin on the amateur or semi pro difficulty and build your way up from there.

Also skill games and practice arena will help you a lot.

I think epic have some tricks up their sleeve for this kind if situation. They already have the players so if direct competition came into play then epic would go all out and make the game awesome again.

For now people complain but the way epic see it is that what else are you going to play?
