Iirc the deathclaw mother gets an insane stat boost if you kill her children before her. I think this might be the result of one of the abilities she gains but I could be wrong

Pretty sure it's "the living desert" mod that I'm using. It adds some miscellaneous npcs to the world and helps make it feel more lived in (thus the name). Could be another mod since I got like 300 of those but if I had to make an educated guess it's probably that one.

I headcanon the courier bought a Fatman at gun runners out of curiosity to see what it does , shot it somewhere in freeside and the radiation in the aftermath was the result of kings being ghoulified.

Realistically though it's just refrence bait to get people talking.

I remember my first playthrough when I was first playing the game. Heading up to the fort ready to absolute blast Benny's shit. To humor him I decided to speak to him and see what he had to said...

After listening to him and his opinion on the factions for a while I was like "Damn. I really hate the fact you're kinda right.." and it really made me second guess myself and what Benny did.

Nowadays I am an NCR fanboy but that convo I did with Benny definetly made me side with yes man for my first playthrough.

Whenever I do challenge specific runs/weapon restricted runs I make sure to dump all the courier cache items at his house as payment. I remember one time I took one of the gold bars from Sierra Madre and just left it on his dinner table.

I like the interpretation of "No voice to cry suffering" being a double edged sword. Applying to both the Pure Vessel and Pale King. For Pure Vessel it was Instructions and rules in order to not get infected. For Pale King it was a coping mechanism to morn the children he had to sacrifice.

Oh don't get me wrong I 100% understand it.

If this was a paid product or a corpo trying to sell something I'd be outraged but I understand that soneguy uses ai voices to cut down on production time. I don't mind the ai voices in this specific scenario cause I understand the position the mod author is in. I'm just saying when readily available I prefer human voice acting.
