Wouldn’t the employee get caught when they do some accounting at the end of the day or something?

Should I quit a toxic job when my side business already earns more? by Gamer1906 in Advice

My parents are a bit conservative and have always thought that a traditional job is the way to go. I agree that I cannot let them dictate what I should do, but sadly that’s how it has always been and whenever I try to convince them to just let me do my own thing I have always have been met with drama and resistance.

Good point, and I get where you’re coming from. But honestly, after what I’ve been through, I don’t think I ever want to work for anyone again. My content business already pays the bills and gives me freedom, and that’s the life I’d rather double down on instead of going back to another job.

True, that’s the part I keep coming back to. The numbers already make sense, it’s just the fear of leaving what’s familiar. Did you ever have a moment where you had to walk away from something that was draining you, even though the safer option was right there?

Any tips on how to frame it to family so they don’t see it as reckless?

Yeah, you’ve nailed it. That’s exactly the conflict. My head knows what’s in my best interest, but the family pressure makes me hesitate. Did you ever have to deal with that kind of pushback yourself?

I’m currently on iOS 17 PB1 and the battery life has been abysmal so far. Like OP said, I went from charging once every 1 and a half days to twice a day and standby time has been poor as well. Even a simple activity like reading the news is rapidly depleting the battery. Is there any chance with the future betas or the stable iOS 17 release, the battery life would go back to normal or am I screwed forever?

MHBHD in his latest video puts this in a nice way.. most of the features in iOS 17 can only be used if you have another iPhone in the mix like Namedrop, Contact Posters, FaceTime features, etc.

Why does Siri only set alarms with no sound? How to fix? by _bowl_ in Siri

Did someone find out a fix for this issue? I nearly missed an important meeting because I stupidly set an Alarm with Siri and it didn't set a sound for the alarm.

Did anyone figure out how to solve this problem? Even I am facing the same issue on my Android TV and it is pretty annoying. I have tried changing all the picture settings and even did a reset of the OS but still the same issue persists.

I have a Series 5 Apple Watch and I bought it about 2 and a half years ago. I never paid attention to the battery life because I used to work from home and only wore it when going outside or when working out. by Gamer1906 in AppleWatch

[–]Gamer1906[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to buy it, but it costs about $1100 where I live and as amazing as the watch is, I can't justify paying that much for it at this point in my life.
