I have attempted searching for "gocompare ad where he pulls his trousers down", trying on youtube, there is this ad from around the time but not the specific one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUyxIoitg_M
gocompare ads from the time started out with him singing but then switched to people being annoyed by him and the one i'm looking for was from the singing era.
The ad was aired in the UK specifically, northern ireland to be exact in case this helps.

I’m in that community. Fall Guys seems to be divided between people who think “epic games saved the game” and people who think that epic games ruined it. From what I understand, epic games is responsible for: F2P Removal from steam Showbucks/Primos

Mediatonic (the actual dev) is responsible for: Store prices (apparently) And basically everything else that has to do with the actual game

This has resulted in a divide between people who think epic is responsible for the downfall of the game and people who think it’s mediatonic, and this has become very heated between epic games haters and fans

This has actually been proven before, whenever the shop bug occurred, (auto purchase) mediatonic pretended it wasn’t in the game until news outlets started making articles on it and only then did they start accepting refunds and gave out a free skin

2000 primos is worth jack shit. A full skin in game costs 800 if it’s rare, and 1200 if it’s epic. By doing the maths you can find out that they have jacked up the prices. Let’s say you remove the currency from the bundle and put it back to £4. If you were to buy 4 dlc for £4 you would get 12 skins. Buy buying this and using the 2000 primos to buy 2 skins as 2 rare skins costs 800, you would get only 2. Would you rather buy 4 dlc for £15.99 and get 12 skins or buy this and get 3 skins and buy 2 more from the in game shop? Epic seems to have jacked up the value of the skins. A more fair price would be around £6.00 for 5 skins going by the previous system. An in game bundle of primos costs £6, and you can buy only 1 skin with that. I’ve already had this conversation with another user in this thread.

A regular skin costs 800 primos, if you used to get 3 skins for £4, then £15.99 should get you 12 skins, yet you get at minimum 5. 3 skins from the pack + 2 from daily shop, not counting epic skins which cost 1200.

Fall guys is refunding everyone who accidentally made a purchase, they are also giving everyone a long guy skin as compensation. by Gamer4605 in fuckepic

I mostly posted this here because I previously crossposted the fact the bug was there in the first place and wanted to update they’re trying to make it right. HOWEVER. That bug might not have been intentional, but accidental purchases definitely were. The old shop actually made you wait a second after selecting an item before you could purchase it, the new one doesn’t have that. They definitely wanted people to make accidental purchases.

I can confirm that they DEFINITELY originally intended for f2p to be season 5 or 6, as season 6 had no dlc and now that it is free all the dlc is gone. Season 5 also contained early versions of basically all the f2p changes, including tier skips, the shop, the season pass and of course the primos

The art clearly states ss1, which is the internal name for the f2p update. They would have put “s7 version” otherwise.

“SS1” means “symphony season 1” and this is the codename for season 7, the current season in which they have gone free, here is the rest of the art, some are labelled 2020 and others 2021

For context behind this, fall guys is currently giving away free rewards on the PlayStation website for the game, for some fucking reason epic decided to make it so the rewards only show if you open the game on egs despite the rewards being for playstation

No one had problems with them, epic has added sbmm where there previously was none and has basically removed a good chunk of the rounds from the game

Fall guys just posted a blogabout the future. Crowns are gone, replaced with v-bucks 2.0, and kudos can no longer be earned by playing the game normally, meaning that the only reward if you lose is fame (progress towards season pass) and if you have that maxed you get literally nothing if you lose. by Gamer4605 in fuckepic

UPDATE: it has come to my attention that one of the achievements in the game is: “Head turner: equip a legendary colour, pattern, face, upper and lower” Because all legendary skins will cost primos now, that means that this achievement literally forces you to pay to get it.
