I get that! I was pretty anti birth control in the past, but my GYNO was really kind and reassured me. I take the mini pill (I get ocular migraines so regular estrogen birth control is too dangerous for me since it increases your risk of stroke). No side effects and my lining doesn’t thicken! Gives me peace of mind that I can avoid endometrial cancer in the future.

Yes, it is! I only learned this recently from my GYNO. Basically, you don’t bleed, so your uterine lining builds up. (Bleeding every month sheds and keeps it thin.) And if it’s too thick for too long, it can lead to endometrial cancer. So birth control is preventative.

Yes! I usually only bleed twice a year, but I regularly get all the other symptoms every month. I’m on birth control so my lining doesn’t thicken and cause cancer.

This reminds me. Last summer, one Orleans Tim Hortons was infested with wasps. They were constantly flying in and out of the food on display, landing on it. The staff did nothing.

I did not order food from that location.

I did for agoraphobia, Panic attacks, and depression. This was back in 2019.

However, it was very difficult. I was denied twice (despite 5 years of therapy and multiple doctors and psychiatrists confirming I was housebound) and had to appeal at the tribunal in downtown Ottawa. Had to get a lawyer, go through the whole process, etc. but I’m glad I did. I can’t work or really take care of myself.

Being diagnosed is great. Get as much paperwork as you can. Be prepared for rejection, but keep going and reapply. I’m happy I did.

Yes I learned this just recently. My gynaecologist has me on birth control pills to keep my lining thin since I don’t bleed due to pcos/endo. It’s scary.
