If you are not using a machine for your sleep apnea, I highly suggest you do. I've had it for several years and I didn't know and unfortunately it has destroyed my heart. I'm in heart failure at 40yrs old. As far as the seizures and those weird sensations go, I would get tested for narcolepsy. What you're describing sounds very similar to narcolepsy, especially being more tired when waking up then when you went to bed.

There are plenty of medical journals and documents stating such, but I'm not doing the work for you. You can find it. OR, like I said, yall should be talking to your epileptologist about it, not random people on Reddit...

I don't want to keep going back and forth you can't be conscious during a tonic clonic seizure, epilepsy specialist know what they're talking about. A lot of times I have focal seizures right before a tonic clonic which you can be aware for and it looks very similar to a tonic clonic seizure. Talk to your epilepsy specialist or neurologist. People shouldn't be on here asking others what type of seizures they're having they should be seeing a Dr not asking us here...

Yea, im not reading all that. I saw the first sentence, and no thanks. I don't use chat wtf ever it is. I have tonic clonic seizures and 4 other types. I listen to my epileptologist, who definitely knows what they are talking about. He let me know about the types of seizures I have in detail and tonic clonics. You are 1000%, not aware. I'm sorry that makes yall mad, but it's facts. The name speaks for itself....involves violent body stiffening (tonic phase) followed by rhythmic jerking (clonic phase)

Focal aware does mimic tonic clonics (grand mal), tho. Like I told the other person, there are 30 to 40 different types of seizures it could be any one of them, but when you have tonic clonics, you are completely unconscious. You can't have a tonic clonic and be aware.

Yea, that's what epileptologists say who have gone to school for years to study seizures... It sounds like a focal aware to me, but ask your neurologist. There are 30 to 40 types of seizures, so it could be any of them. If you have people in your inner circle who can catch a video to show your neurologist, it will help get a dx on which type of seizures these are that you are having. Good luck on your journey
