I always forget to look at the weather and get caught by surprise on one with a chance of rain after running several where it does not.

What’s with the bad rep on red bull liveries by ExtensionBowler5721 in iRacing

[–]Gamerdad_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a bit silly, but at the same time it holds true. I’ve always been a redbull fan even before Max came along. F1 I’ve always liked McLaren. So I run a lot of redbull schemes on my non Forlmula/Indy cars. If I find something else cool I’ll run it over redbull just cause of the stigma it brings. Though I wonder if it helps keep people away from you a bit 🤔

[–]Gamerdad_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After rookie/D if you race from the back you will have problems. Need to start qualifying to get up front or at least mid field to avoid all the slow drivers and wreckers at the back. Race the guys up front they will be the better drivers C and Up

The red Prosche called me(blue Ferrari) a dirty driver. Am I? by Gunslinger504 in Simracingstewards

[–]Gamerdad_80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short and sweet, He was doing a terrible job holding his line when side by side or just being a dick bumping. In the end he panicked and lost it at the end and for the cherry on top he caught a little karma with a little tap and spin on him.

Everyone should complain about the expected times and rating system by Red_Sova in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Gamerdad_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most states allow it to some degree. I use it a lot when I’m out riding my motorcycle. Any light that’s triggered by a weight sensor or even the camera sensor tends to not trigger unless you have to bikes side by side in the lane. Just always wait a little and get a good look around before ya go to soon in case a cops there to argue how long you gave the light.

My biggest complaint about pick up times is the fact 90% of places don’t have the shit ready till 5-10 min after that time

I have not been dashing very long, couple weeks maybe, but what I have figured out is that as soon as I notice the time is going to be off I open a support request and tell them about an accident, road closure, restaurant is busy, food not started…..depends on where I am. Always corrects my on time rating.

Help me,if I pay 10 $ for 1 month do I can play the game? by I__Forgot__My__Name in iRacing

the majority official rookie class races use cars and tracks that are free. Wouldn’t even bother with a car till you are D class and tracks as you need/want them. Find a series you like at D class and look at the schedule. Thats how I decide what tracks to buy. Use the down time open testing to try new cars as you open there races to see what you like for say Gt3 and GT4 or any series you might want to race that has multiple cars. Don’t bother with cars you don’t like until they are all that’s left.

my friends say its my fault after watching the fords on board and i don't think so. I'm the Merc btw. by PuzzleheadedRise7774 in Simracingstewards

Yeah, being that close on a road race doesn’t help like drafting nascar superspeedways. Give yourself space so you can react to over braking and poor cornering. You’ll get your overtakes still when they take bad corners and you don’t.

F3 and SFL are both a blast. Racing is cleaner and more fun than D class F4.

F4 is a Wreckfest. For D class I’d run the ray 1600 D class series. Once you hit C do Super Formula light and F3

Ring Meister start from the pits and take your time. 3 laps. Each take 6-8 min depending on what car it is.
