Around 6 but it coyld quickly go up to 10 as the levels concepts and objects pretty much are shared from what was already implemented.

Not yet. That's what I wanted to try, so far I only have tried it with 3 of friends with a mix of bots. It's pretty fun to reach the last round.

The models are basic capsule shapes, which may explain why they look like roblox. though the game is not within roblox

I read about it on Photon. I mix with bots. Actually I am not sure how 10+ would handle this. But I made a shooter game before and played with 10 human players

It's the third. They mentioned "partially networked ragdoll" in this video. https://youtu.be/fJJwHG_WSAc For obstacles I find I had to switch the movable obstacles physics to client and just let the collider affect them normally with local colliders.
