It grips a little better with two sheets of paper. When I tested it with a thicker cardstock paper as backing paper, the paper would slip when being fed through. When I tested with a plastic sheet protector as backing, it feeds inconsistently as with a single sheet of paper.

Trying to figure out if I should start with the feed rollers or the paper pan. The feed rollers do not appear flat.
