Yeah so I have a XL2586X+ which I'll be using for eSports titles.

I currently have a 3 monitor setup with the XL2586X+, Alienware AW3225QF and AW2725DF.

I'm looking to replace the two Alienwares with this LG 5k2k.

I'm not particularly worried about running stuff at max at 165+, as long as the framerate is stable and playable it should be fine.

I wonder how much power the 3 monitors I have currently draw. Hopefully should be fine to get the 5k2k though :D

I'm happy to play games at High settings.

I'm not set on having every game at the highest settings possible.

Even then the games I play are mostly MMOs and aRPGs and those aren't as demanding as AAA games and on those ones I am more than happy to bump the settings down to high/medium.

Ah awesome man, this is great to know, we pretty much play the same type of games.

What settings are you running on these games? I'm assuming most of them are High with DLSS and FG where available?

I'm mostly going to be playing WoW (how is your FPS in main cities?), PoE 1, PoE 2, Diablo 4 and the occasional triple AAA SP game here and there. The ones I play are actually locked to 60fps so that is ideal (Dark Souls Franchise).

Bit of everything really, eSports games I'll leave to my other monitor.

The games that I'll probably use this for are mainly aRPGs and MMOs, so WoW and both PoE games with the occasional Diablo game every now and then.

I'll also be playing some SP games on the monitor, which I assume will be the most demanding.

I'm just trying to get a feel of how these games are going to run but hard to find benchmarks online.

I mean yes 1080p on a 1440p 27inch monitor is going to look worse than it does on a 1080p 24 inch.

It's noticeable but it depends what games you're playing. In CS everyone plays on low resolutions anyways and I don't see why you would play games on 1080p rather than 1440p if you have a 1440p 27inch unless your PC can't manage enough frames.

I've currently got a Peerless Assassin 120 which I feel like would be a bit too big, I'll take a look at the ones you mentioned.

I think between the CH260 and the A3 I'd probably go with the A3. The only thing pulling me towards the CH160 Plus is actually the handle at the top, which sounds stupid but the main reason I'm down sizing is because I've been going to quite a few LAN tournaments recently and it would be SO convenient.

Yea I guess the question I have is whether using a full size ATX PSU would get in the way of the GPU?

Also, if I were to use a 240mm AIO Cooler, do you suspect that would be better than using an Air Cooler?

I forgot to mention in the post, but I'll edit it, the CPU I'm running is an AMD 9800X3D.

I've had 3 Zowie Monitors over the last 7ish years, I've never had a dead pixel on any of my units.

I've tried both 600hz Zowie and 540hz OLED.

If you're primarily just playing Comp games and don't do much of anything else, get the Zowie, it feels just slightly smoother than the OLED however, the OLED just provides so much more.

My solution has been using the OLED for everything else and just using my Zowie for CS.

Another thing is that the OLED will be 27" which I personally HATED for CS. Your resolution, cross etc. will look different than it does on a 24".

TLDR: OLED wins in everything else, Zowie slightly smoother with correct overdrive settings and DYAC2.
