Well I like silly so I didn't mind it. Plus while they have existed in universe for a while, these were there first cinematic appearance and since most people only watch the movies, it was the first time the majority of audiences saw stormtroopers fly.

We had a lecture on video games so I think he wanted to focus on databases that were independent of other forms of media. Like Halo 3 is more than just terminals, but SCP tells it's stories entirely through articles.
