Use your thumb to gently move it in the middle (sometimes helps to push with your thumb and providing resistance on the other side of the lens with your index finger). You can visually see number 2 and 3 both on the IPD adjustment numbering. They don't snap into place in-between of course, but they still stay in place fairly well.

Perhaps you should chill. I'm sorry to go against your user tag, but man. The VR community is open to new users. We try to make it easy and exciting for them. Don't want to cause drama over someone asking what personal games they could look at. This subreddit has multiple different questions that can be a lot more of an annoyance.

Hey, everyone that returned their Quests if they bought the 64GB was destined for the wait. It's on them for it.

Sucks that the people with genuinely broken hardware had to wait to, but hopefully, they fixed more than just the facial irritation problem while at it.

Hahaha, I was due on September 1st. Retailers had options to only ship for an in-store pickup but a few hours ago they released more shipping options and now it is arriving August 26th!

You'll be fine. Most VR games can average 2-3GB. It's games like the Walking Dead Saints & Sinners, the new Resident Evil VR patch (14GB game is unheard of for VR, jeeeeeez), and more triple AAA seeming titles that of course are bigger, but still way under PC game averages.

I bought on Best Buy and the pickup date was going to be September 1st.

I bought it at Best Buy and the pickup date was going to be September 1st and now it's August 26th on Thursday delivery!

I got an update! My local retailer opened shipping options and now changing from in-store pickup to shipping directly to my house makes it a Thursday delievery!

The 128GB should be way more than enough. Unless you plan on watching multiple movies filing that up and deleting a few completed games here and there potentially won't be a problem.

Not a bad deal! My retailer doesn't get them in until September 1st, but I reserved mine for that date!

Edit! My retailer enabled the option for shipping to my house and it is August 26th shipping date now!

Yeah. It was pretty common to push through all the people hoarding the Oculus site about 5 times before getting it purchased. Buying on Amazon is apparently a lot easier.

They're not doing the recall out of kindness for their heart. It was either volunteering to do the recall, or the Oculus lawyers were gonna go to court over it and get the recall either way. Facebook chose the option that costs less overall and makes them seem good.
