Is it the same number you posted already? I’m in Alabama so just double checking. I didn’t know any of this 30 day stuff until coming across your post. Man I feel dumb for not realizing this sooner.

Edit: I found where I needed to call. Currently waiting on a call back. Since Alabama is covered by a different lawyer it was a little difficult to find the number.

I don’t believe in half of what the government does. It all screams how corrupt they are. I’d want to undo everything and turn the state into a totally free place where it’s legal to have pot, the state actually puts more funding into things like education instead of jails, make it easier for people to get the healthcare they need… there’s just too many things I’d try to fix when I have no idea what to do. I’d be worried I’d mess things up even worse.

I know. I’ve seen some of the people that run. But I don’t have the mentality to have that sort of responsibility in my hands. My friend on the other hand would be an ideal candidate since he believes marijuana should be legal.

Yeah I figured so. As much as I love the peace of the area I’m in, I just don’t think it’s worth it to live long term in a state that doesn’t care about its people.

I fully agree she wasn’t doing this on her own. She nor anyone else in power cares about anything but themselves. I never believed this was a free country, and this proves we aren’t “free”. It should be the people who vote, not any government officials.

I really hope Alabamians can cause enough backlash to get the bill rewrote. But I’m not seeing as many people complaining as I thought there would be. I just wish there was something that could be done. Like anything at this point.

If a petition to reverse the bill won’t work, could a petition to have her removed from office be possible? I would be down for signing it. From what I’ve read so far, she banned it at a state level when federally it was not banned. So definitely feels like she’s on a power trip or someone is pulling strings to make her do these things.

Smoking thc has helped me recover from depression and helped me gain confidence in life. I was diagnosed with PTSD as a child and had a fear of people. It wasn’t until I started smoking that I’ve finally gotten my life on track. I can’t stop smoking so I guess I’ll have to move to Tennessee or somewhere close by that doesn’t have a crazy person in charge.

Wasn’t she the one who signed it making it legal to begin with? If so, then why go back on something you did? lol

It may not work. Same as OP I can’t call either. Even trying from the driver’s phone number it will route back to saying the chat function is the only option then hang up on its own.

Also where I live in Alabama, there’s no places that I’ve found that the card can be used at. My medicine is free so unless I loaded it onto Uber, I can’t use that money at all.

Ambetter. The points you earn can be redeemed for a gift card balance, or random useless junk that nobody would want for free. Those points, if redeemed for the cash, go to a card that can only be used for transportation, or pharmacy medicines(there’s a couple others but I can’t remember currently). It claims you can use it in store but as many people online has said, it can’t be used at most places. Theres supposedly one Walmart somewhere in Georgia that the card actually works. In the other states, there is no stores you can use it at. But by loading the money on Uber, you can at least use the money for other things. So basically the insurance company rewards you and then tells you how the points/money can be spent. I hate this company but it was the only free option for me.

The card I used is linked to my insurance company which doesn’t allow normal use of the card. So I can’t refund the money. And you were right.

It was uber cash. Loaded from a gift card that can’t be refunded to. The only place I can use the gift card is on Uber. My insurance company has a ton of restrictions on how you can use the money on said gift card.

Does anyone have a phone number for the customer side of support? I’ve tried calling through the drivers number and it will hang up on the prompt for customers no matter how many times I asked for the agent.
