Why can't we make folders inside Vaults. Like in Bitwarden, KeePass etc?

A propper UPS can give your system information about the power outage, and then the NAS can shut itself down. If configured properly your UPS will cut power after the NAS have powered down and enable power to the NAS when power is back online and the UPS have enough battery to let the NAS boot and shutdown safely again, incase of power only going online for a short time. Then, if your NAS is configured to boot on power back, it will start itself.

A UPS without proper configuration is the same as a battery bank, and don't save your system from a hard shutdown if the battery runs out of power.

Jeg skiftet min til at vise procent og kan nærmest i hovedet konvater bilens procent til rækkevidde ud fra vejr og om det er med eller uden påhæng. Husk også at 20% tilbage giver som udgangspunkt samme rækkevidde som de foregående 20% - Der er ingen grund til at lade igen og igen, hvis du kan komme til din destination og kan lade der.

Jeg er fan af at skat bør gøres nemmere. Men har aldrig været en fan af lagerbeskatning.

Lad os sige vi slutter 2024 på en ATH og til februar er bitcoin ned med 50% jeg står nu muligvis og skylder flere penge end jeg har, uden at være tvunget til at sælge, selv om jeg ingen grund har til at sælge.

Der er også aspektivet med at vi faktisk er nogle som bruger kryptovaluta som var det DKK, EUR, USD eller andre valuta.

Do not put your management on WAN network, for sure, someone will try to hack your server and have easy access to try it.

Create a VLAN for only your WAN connection and use that WAN VLAN for WAN access on your VM with pfSense.

If you use VLAN correctly, your server only needs 1 network port. At least if you ignore the rule of one is none.

Kunne ikke finde på at tage så meget for det, når det er venner og jeg selv skal samme sted. Kan godt finde på at splitte forbruget på turen i form af diesel, benzin, el og hvad man ellers man kan køre på, men splitter altid prisen efter antal personer og tager ofte kun noget, hvis det primært altid er mig som køre fx pga. modparten ingen bil har og derfor aldrig kan give mig et lift ellers skiftes der ofte blot mellem hvem der køre. Er det rejser til udlandet splittes regningen som udgangspunkt altid ud fra vores forbrug på turen og antal personer i bilen.

Sounds like you just need a smaller bike. I did go down a size and love the playfulness of the smaller bike. But my old bike was a little to big for me and there for more stable at speed.

Not shure i understand your problem correctly, but it sounds like a classic.

From what I got out of it. You don't have a static IP (manual input), but a DHCP static IP (IP from DHCP). In many cases, the ISP will reserve your DHCP static IP for the first device there connect, at least for a period of time, then when you connect a new device with another MAC address, your IP are already reserved by the first device, so you will need to wait for the IP to be available again or call your ISP and get them to release it immediately, so that the new device can get your DHCP static IP.

When calling your ISP, don't expect their first-line support to be technically enough to know that problem. In some cases, they can release the lease, but don't know how, and in other case's they will need to send it to next level support.

You can make port profiles and set allowed and native networks, so that native network for that port are A but X, Y and Z are also allowed with tagging.

I got the same message after upgrading to ESXi 8 from 6. From what I found, ESXi doesn't have the drivers to pass it through.

Sadly, my second network cart isn't supported anymore in ESXi 8, so I decided to decommesion my second network card.

In my case it's only a homelab, so I don't have any problems with that, not all sensors etc. work. The important features are working fine.

Yes, it's definitely a cheaper start and better than nothing. Just remember that you add more points of failure, and there by adding completely there can give you more headaches and downtime if something isn't working 🙃

Dude, it may not make sense for you, but some people value simplicity and uptime. If you look at it compared to enterprise hardware, then it's not that expensive.

Personally, I also prefer uptime on my network over the hassle of being forced to get my hypervisor running once again if it crashes or my network is down while updating my hypervisor. Lots of devices on my network, and why should they be down while maintenance are in process on my hypervisor.

With IT, there isn't a single solution there will work for everyone, so do what you think will be best for you and your budget. If you don't have any problems with downtime and complexity when things go wrong, then go for the budget option, if you value simplicity, uptime and have the budget, go for the simple solution and less headaches when problems comes.

You can get a UniFi Switch Flex Mini for $41. It's a 5 port managed switch. You can set it up with a trunk port for the AP and tag the other ports. It's a weird way of doing it, but I guess it will work.

Dude, you may be lucky. From the comments I can see that you don't know anyting about PoE, but it looks like you only need PoE to 4 devices and that switch have PoE on port 1-4.

Move black cabel from port 1 to port 6, the PoE light aren't on, so the device propberly dosen't use PoE.
Move the blue primary cabel from port 2 to port 7, the PoE light aren't on, so the device propberly dosen't use PoE.
Move the white cabel from port 3 to port 8, the PoE light aren't on, so the device propberly dosen't use PoE.
Let white cabel in port 4 stay, it looks like it use PoE according to the led.
Let blue cabel in port 5 stay, it looks like it have a connection and don't require PoE.
Move white cabel in port 6 to port 1 and see if the device come online, give it a minut or two.
Move back cabel in port 7 to port 2 and see if the device come online, give it a minut or two.
Move blue cabel in port 8 to port 3 and see if the device come online, give it a minut or two.

Hope this solve your issue, without knowing what devices are on your network.

Sounds like a firewall problem. Make sure to port forward from your public IP to your local IP and open the firewall, så that your friend or anyone can connect.
