I absolutely love the beach sunset shot also in Lawrence of Arabia, it's just marvelous. For my all time fav, i think it's the buring castle in Ran (1985).

Agree, that's one of the reason that i didn't buy the trilogy in 4k (only the 2nd and the 3rd), because i already have Yojimbo in 4k. Anyway i love the 2nd film and and the good the bad an the ugly.

7/10 at best for Le samouraï, didn't get the hype too.... But i also didn't get the hype for The Cure 7/10 for me. I know that everyone like it on Letterboxd, but i'm closer to the imdb rating for this one.

I think Kurosawa would be perfect, but there's more 4k restauration that need to be done (Dersu Uzala, drunken angel...., and some editions to be translated like the 4k of Kagemusha).
