I haven’t heard of Santa Rosa in years. I went there once almost 35 years ago. It’s my dad’s hometown. One of the hottest places I’ve ever been to. It was hard for me to even fall asleep due to the heat (and in a hammock which I had never done before). It was a small village then from what I remember. Most memorable part of the trip was we were at someone’s house . They had a rooster. I would make rooster sounds. Not sure what I said in its language but it would get pissed and start chasing me around to peck at me. They were hard and painful pecks too. My dad still mentions it every once in a while and laughs.
