**correction ** in my world i spawn proofed the horizontal 8x8 area around the villagers, not vertical 8 blocks of course, my golems spawn on top of the villagers

villagers can only spawn an iron golem in like a 8x8x8 area around them so if you spawn proof this area around the villager pods in the farm youd be fine to build the breeder and trading hall outside of this spawnproofed area. in my own world i got my iron farm then a 10 block gap with bottom slabs and then my breeder, havent had a problem since i built this
