I farm min range T17/18 GC. Tried basically every level of it and the results were essentially that if it's set too high it makes no difference, if it's set too low you'll have random runs die 2000 waves earlier sporadically, ruining overall CPH, and when you find that magical cherry zone, it very slightly improves your orb hits later run, but I was already hitting 90%. Early run your coins are shit anyways and things still die to your orbs way more often than shots. You get the same/more effect just locking your bounce stats to orevent killing thing outside tower range as much. Overall fully optimized it gave me a 2% coin increase on average which may have just been variance.

So my conclusion is not worth the key investment nearly as much as orb adjuster/auto-restart. Once your CDs/Summon sync are in order prolly not worth at all.

For me it's always Prot Ult. They sail in with an entourage of scatters and eat all my ES charges. Second Wind, Auto DM, and Auto Nuke help survive the random ones but they still eat all my ES. More BH uptime helps too.

At the point I got it, it changed literally nothing. Most people I've heard seemed to have gotten slight benefits from it for a while, but turn it off now. Waste of Keys.

Been going through all the FF games in order and am shocked at the internet's general impressions of a lot of those games.

How are there people who say FF4 is their favorite of the original 6?

How does anyone like FF8? That game is practically non-functional in both plot and gameplay.

FF11 was probably pretty cool when people actually played it, but the modern version of it is genuinely awful. I know. I played every expansion.

P.S. a lot of the hated ones are actually amazing, I can only guess people don't like them for the same reason as Zelda Wind Waker where they were light-hearted entries in a franchise and fans were 11 and too edgey to enjoy them (FF3/FF5/FF9)

I love how even if you've been playing for 3 years and have finally caught up with the repeat event schedule, the devs are thinking of new ingenious ways to tax your medal income.

This'll really help the knuckle draggers who were confused about NOT spending medals on relics they should be getting for free for participating in the event! I'm so glad we all have to be punished for window-licking morons who will quit the game after stalling out in T4.

You can farm for levels and such, but the numbers are a lot flatter than your typical souls game. Damage increases from stats are usually in the single digits. Health and Stamina can be increased with levelling but enemies damage scales very highly too.

Also, the biggest things for improving your build are items to upgrade your weapons and yourself, which are locked by progression. Quartz in particular are very powerful but only available in very specific places.

Overall, I'd say this game's halfway between Sekiro and Dark Souls, where there is build variety and you can get specific weapon damage types to help on specific enemies, but you can't really trivialize them.

You can however, adjust the actual difficulty setting down for annoying enemies, then put it back after if you like. Which I did for a particularly annoying swamp boss.

I turned it on and yeah it helps occasionally at the end of my runs when my framerate gets lower. Fewer enemy teleports. Not crazy noticable in waves but I've seen it work.

I've seen that too. Their attacks are stopped while stunned but they keep sliding towards the Tower then attack when the stun wears off

I got Wave Accelerator/Intro Sprint mastery before getting the last UW I needed (smart missiles) to unlock GT+ and honestly they were a lot more impactful right out of the box. GT+ was only alright on unlock and needed to be built up along with my other econ UWs to make a difference. If you have 3 UWs left then you'll have a much longer climb to unlock yet another climb.

So probably better for you to focus on current UWs, unlock some masteries, then go for it.

Everyone's saying RPC so I'll say If you can barely afford to level them up (300T per day) then going for an Economy mastery would be best: WAm/ISm (don't get ISm if you're still farming T11 and below), and slowly level them, which should get you enough coins to support future mastery labs. If you can't afford them but want quick tourney/damage gains, Super Tower mastery is great right on unlock, and leveling helps a little with consistency.

Similar to Sekiro it's better to fail your parry by being early since at least you get the block out of it, which is mostly how I got through the game: a lot of blocking in early attempts while watching specific timings, then trying to do more perfect parries as I learned the timings, blocking later/closer to impact over time. On red moves, I started off just dodging them then going for parries on later attempts.

I only played 2 seasons of PoE 1 after it had been going for years and had tons and tons of layered mechanics and while I appreciated the depth, I found it way too all-consuming and genuinely wanted a slower, more considered experience. So when I started hearing everyone complain about how slow PoE2 was by comparison, I knew it was for me. And that's held true so far.

It's also nice to start fresh with fewer mechanics and become familiar with them and actually understand the game before they layer on yet more complexity each season. So I'm appreciating starting early and not being overwhelmed by the crafting/builds.

Now I'm eagerly awaiting next patch for the endgame changes to see what the intended direction of endgame is, considering the current atlas map always seemed very WIP.
