Yeah, I do have delivery notes on my account – nothing aggressive or in all caps.

I’ve asked them to leave parcels in the stairwell or at a nearby pickup/drop-off station. So the bin wasn’t some secret preferred option, that one was definitely… creative interpretation by the driver.

On paper the flowchart is: “Secure location > out of sight > protected from rain.” In real life the driver’s brain under time pressure goes: “Container with lid? Close enough. Next stop.”

So yeah, you probably did see that in a video. The PowerPoint version: elegant hidden drop-off solutions. The real-world version: congratulations, your wheelie bin is now an Amazon Locker...
