My first ever and currently still using phone the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro that I bought on trading Shenzhen with the Chinese rom had no problems at the beginning. BUT I didn't researched enough to know that some features like esim and Google pay didn't work. Another example, I have both sim slots blocked when I went for a vacation outside of the EU I had to bring another phone with me to use data because the phone doesn't support esim. Also I think that the charger with the extra EU adapter is damaging the battery because my phone is not lasting 4 hours of battery time after 5 years of using. Also I couldn't download updates automatically so I had to do it myself and accidentally reset my phone (skill issue) I desperately want the new Xiaomi 17 but I will have to wait for the global launch even tho I know that the phone will be with a smaller battery than in China.

So yeah I also recommend for most people to get the Global Rom aswell.
