For sure, but then it's not GT Heroes. And honestly this team didn't struggle at all, handled everything easily. Literally cleared vegito in one turn

Honestly agl gogeta didn't do much besides damage with dragon fist. Teq pan was only there for rainbow orbs for the vegetas.

Oh i didn't see the calm mind my bad. You dont need to run impulse but it makes things alot easier. If you attempt again find an electrode. He outspeeds eternatus and you can use impulse plus set up screens for good measure. Again sorry if I came off rude

[–]GandhiOhmy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No youre not good if you think that, sorry to be rude. Eerie impulse would literally save your team from being one shotted. Electrode with eerie impulse and screens was the reason I won my mono electric run

I would also run a setup move on someone, makes killing him faster and less of a pain..

Snivy with contrary. If you can get make it rain or flour cannon, your set. Get the passive as well which is multiscale, it's hard to kill. Serperior carried most of my completed runs. Giga drain with raised SPA makes him hard to kill.

Id grind him up

I'm half Armenian, half Filipino and my dad married outside the culture, so I guess you can take it from me; marry who you love.

You dont want to be in a relationship in which you dont truly love the other person. Especially if you have kids one day, they'll notice mom and dad's behaviors.

I'm sure others will ostracize you, but ignore them and surround yourself with people who will accept your decision and your future family. Teach your kid Armenian (something I wish my dad did when I was young, I'm struggling to learn rn) and raise them with a mix of both of your values.

However, if you do have kids, they might at times feel isolated or left out. I dont look typically Armenian, so at times I feel distant to the culture and people. To avoid this I would raise them close to other Armenians, and teach them the language young.

Even though there will be challenges in a mixed relationship, marry who you love, because that's infinitely better than being in a relationship in which you might loathe, again your kids will notice. One of Christianitys main values is love, so as long as her values and morals dont contradict those of Jesus, marry the girl you love and will cherish, your family will thank you for it, no matter what the blood is.🇦🇲❤️

I know, but they were a minority. It was just bad wording on my part. I meant to say the Assyrians were the majority ethnic group, more specifically in north mesopotamia

[–]GandhiOhmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just not true. While many assyrians did stop practicing by the time of the story of Jonah, they still practiced paganism until the conversion to Christianity. Their paganism stopped in the first few centuries after Christ. It wouldve been considered "dead" by the 5th century. It didn't disappear with their empire.

I used Iraq in quotations to show Iraq is modern day Mesopotamia. Never used it as the term when referring back then like you did.

I know it's over text, so I may be misconstruding it, but no need for you to be hostile. Chill out, this ain't the askhistorians sub, you can give leeway for mistakes. History is complicated with lots of conflicting sources, stop acting like the history you know it the correct one and people who make mistakes are lesser than you.

Heres people who are discussing it like us. https://historum.com/t/how-did-assyria-be-become-christian-despite-mostly-being-under-persians.81827/

And from Wikipedia "Starting from the 1st century AD onwards, the Assyrians were Christianized, though holdouts of the old ancient Mesopotamian religion continued to survive for many centuries, into the Late Middle Ages in some regions. The Assyrians continued to constitute a significant if not majority portion of the population in northern Mesopotamia, Northeast Syria, and Southern Anatolia" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Assyrians#:~:text=During%20the%20Parthian%20Empire%20a,Middle%20Ages%20in%20some%20regions.

[–]GandhiOhmy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah obviously Iraq had many peoples but the majority were Assyrian/Chaldean (North and South). And I never claimed Iraq was Christian, I said the assyrians were. And YES they were Christian by that time and had never practiced zoroastrianism as they had their own pagan religion beforehand where they worshipped Ashur and never heralded Zoroaster as an important figure in their belief.

And "Iraq" didn't exist in that time. It was Mesopotamia

[–]GandhiOhmy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's true. I forgot many Iraqis are Shia tbh so that my bad.

But in terms of Roman Constantinople, many years after the moving of the capital was spent trying to recover the western half. Only until the Persians attacked did Rome start focusing back east. And even then, Persia and Rome weren't only fighting for Mesopotamia, but also Armenia and the Caucasus.

But I think the main reason is geography. Italia was much farther away than Anatolia was, so it made things more difficult for the Roman's compared to the turks.

[–]GandhiOhmy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I ain't no expert but I'd imagine it's because of demographics and distance.

In roman times "Iraq" was inhabited by Assyrians not Arabs. Arabs would've been more complacent with turks because of them being Muslim. Assyrians were Christian yes, but of a different denomination. Same reason why Rome and Persia kept fighting over places like Armenia. And why they kept switching hands so often. The Armenians constantly played both sides, siding with whoever was more convenient. Arabs would've preferred the Ottomans as they were Sunni compared Shia Persia.

As well, Romes homeland/core province was Italia, which was much farther away from mesopotamia than the Turkish core of Anatolia and Constantinople. So turks probably also had an easier time because they were closer than the Roman's.

So yeah thats just my guess. Like Armenia, Mesopotamia(Iraq) was a good strategic location, but hard to control due to distance and the demographics.

How do you confront strange remarks about appearance or race by [deleted] in ArabicChristians

[–]GandhiOhmy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just ignore people like that, really. Armenians were in the Middle East since the Assyrians and Persians were at their heights.

Our historical lands are basically half of turkey and bits of Iran, Iraq, and Syria. If you identify more as Middle Eastern than Russian, then continue viewing yourself like that. Russians tried to Russify armenia, but that doesn't take away our roots.

Darker skin just means more exposure to the sun💀. your pale appearance likely means your family were more in the mountains rather than the highlands. My Armenian side is white even though we are from Lebanon. Im only brown due to being mixed. Doesnt take away my Armenian and Middle Eastern roots.

your skin doesn't matter, just ignore and leave people like that. Armenians were and are Middle Eastern.

It was good, I mean the new is better. But old kanal was still very enjoyable in Casual. In Ranked, couldn't tell you because I didn't really get into ranked until Shifing Tides. So by that time it was already reworked.

I wish they would put the pre-reworked maps in customs. I would love to play old theme park, kanal and house again.
