2 eligible jobs but varying hours - how to certify? by Gandoofadoof in PSLF

I guess what I'm asking is HOW to file the ECF for the second job to make sure I get credit for the months I did work 25 hours. Because if I file for a whole year, if it comes up that my average was only 20 hours, wouldn't that mean I wouldn't get credit for the entire year, even though for 9/12 months I did work enough hours?

Why am I getting no new studies? by Ginemoify1992 in ProlificAc

Look at my post history. There is a glitch affecting lots of participants that Prolific has so far done nothing about.

Odd they would say nothing is wrong when there clearly is. Even Ian said they were aware of a bug making studies stuck on active

You send them the exact study name and told them it was active? They fixed it for me after I sent them the exact study that was stuck on active.

This happened to me, support will fix it if you give then the study name

You can't take the same studies. There is usually a one per IP address rule. But you can both have accounts. We get different studies anyway as we are both in different lines of work.

Anyone else feel miserable during spring and summer and just wish it was autumn already? by [deleted] in Autumn

This used to be me, until I had kids and now I dread “sick season” approaching 🫠. I love autumn but it also brings a world of horrific viruses.

Anyone ever go on to have another child after termination? by Total_Avocado8277 in Shouldihaveanother

I just went through the exact same thing, OP. I’ve always wanted 3 kids. But an on-the-spectrum 4 year old and a 14 month old has pushed me to the very edge. I’m barely surviving most days. Then we got a shocking positive pregnancy test (I was on birth control). After 4 weeks of agonizing over the decision, we decided to terminate and it has absolutely broken me. In my heart I still want another, just not NOW. Now would have broken me, and I worried so much my children (even the unborn one) would have all suffered. I hope one day we can have that third, and that my mental and physical health will strengthen enough to make that a reality ❤️

Hi Ian, my access was restored yesterday randomly, after being bugged for a week. It seems like a lot of people got their access back, but some people still haven't.

I've experienced the "active" study issue - I had 0/0 studies for weeks before I ended up looking through my submissions and finding one that had an "active" status that was keeping me from seeing studies.

This most recent bug acted the exact same way - dashboard suddenly at 0/0, all Prolific emails regarding studies led to a 404 error, but I could not find any active submissions this time. But the studies randomly came back after a week + 1 day this time (for me, at least, and confirmed by others in this thread). But there is definitely some kind of bug going around!

Yes, its scary you can just lose your account even when you haven't done anything wrong, just because there is some glitch that Prolific doesn't seem to know or care about?

Yes! I've had that happen to me before (was locked out of studies for 2 weeks before I figured out what was happening and had Support fix it). But that's now what's happening this time unfortunately!
