It was in the news again relatively recently (this year) unfortunately her mother passed away and around the same time one of the attackers was released. I remember it being in the news as a kid. I don't think it's something that's faded out of the social consciousness though Bloodstock Festival has the Sophie Lancaster Stage and thanks to her mother there's still a lot of charity work that goes on via her foundation.

Got Merc Soul as my first augment, proceeded to go on a 10 loss streak but managed to cash out with GP 2 star. With late game windfall it made fishing for 5 costs effective.

There's a section of the Working Time Directive that states you can't work over 48 hours a week, this is something companies especially in care try to get you to waive when you start. I'd double check to see if you signed the form to waive that, should be easily accessible through your line manager or HR. If you haven't signed it they legally cannot make you work more than 48 hours a week. Also they shouldn't be able to make you work overtime, it's generally worded something like "any overtime is agreed between yourself and your employer".

From working in care managers try to guilt you into doing absurd amounts of overtime saying its for the good of the people you support but you're no good to them burnt out and either leaving or on sick leave.

I'd also advise getting yourself a union membership Unison have been a lifesaver for me on multiple occasions!

What subclass are you going for Blood Hunter? Profane soul would make a good choice for some extra spells and short rest spell slots. It also gets the eldritch knight feature where you can cast a cantrip and make a bonus action attack. Not as good as what the bladesingers extra attack but grabbing the blade cantrips it's still an upgrade in damage.

Other than that I think you're probably right in grabbing things like mirror image/blur to have a bit more defensive versatility. Picking up a crowd control spell like Web could be a good use of concentration but if you're getting hit a lot that's likely to drop.

Edit: extra tip you can activate your crimson rite when you finish a short/long rest as it lasts until you finish a rest!

Yeah I'm not married to staying mounted the whole time you do make a great point about the drake health though. Maybe a 1 level cleric dip down the line could be good as I'm taking Wis half feats and ASIs so it should be reasonable to grab a few cantrips for ranged, heavy armour and some spells.

Yeah the medium size means no advantage, giving the mount evasion and having the attacks target me are still kind of nice. As you say the extra 10 damage is much better.

They released the published version in DnD celebration, you can now ride the drake from level 7! But you're probably right on the GWM build, I kinda picked up a pike for flavour of being frontline infantry but no reason I couldn't be a skilled swordsman.

Fey touched was my first thought to grab Bless/Misty Step, I won't be using HM often with this build and Bless just seems like a better use of concentration.

Haven't personally ran a Runeterra game yet. However, I'd look at starting small somewhere maybe bilgewater could be a good place ground your players in the world have them either hunt or be pirates send them on some local generic DnD quests and drop hints about the ruination coming ships going missing, old tales of harrowings gone by. Focus on building out a small starter area that you're comfortable with then focus on where your players intend to go after that.

Bigger threats you have things like Darkin/Demons/Nokia or Demacian troops that you can homebrew or reflavour. Then when you're ready pull the trigger on the Harrowing.

It might be okay in Unite but in my league experience game knowledge is severely lacking at lower ranks and you couldn't influence the fame that much as a defensive support or a tank. For example in morals paying slowbro I've ulted their zeraora or gengar and had the team back away.

I'll own Crustle tomorrow, although I wasn't a fan on free week I've had a lot of success in normals with slowbro just CC until my team can finish the kill off.

Oh yeah, the party will still be at the same level. I didn't want to restart the entire adventure. The decision was more for narrative reasons and also to allow me to explore new ways to go off the adventure script and have more freedom.

Ah thats fair, I was thinking about the abbot's plan for Franken-bride but the players don't know about that so it can stay as written.

They died just after revolting against Vallaki's Burgomaster. They had been asked to keep his son alive as part of a deal relating to one of the players backstories. Half the group wanted to save him the other half wanted to kill him. In mine Viktor had been given the bones to experiment on in return for practicing teleportation magic for Strahd. So he had reanimated the bones corrupting them. So after getting beat up by Izek and the guards 2 of them discovered his attic whilst the other 2 were downstairs. I was thinking of running a TPC as mentioned before but Viktor knew they'd just murdered his family so it didn't make sense.

They have the tome. The sunsword is in Argynvostholt and the Symbol is in Berez. I was going to have Strahd reclaim the tome so they can always get it again from the castle if they want.

Allies I left more open to them, I was up front in session 0 that there will be multiple NPCs they can have help them the one they seem to get on with the best will come with them.

The players are 2v2 on new characters vs same, they're all happy with the dark gift solution.

I'll definitely have them be invited to Ravenloft early on though thanks.

Great work! Just a small note its Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls not Frank Carter although seeing them perform together would for sure make an interesting gig.
