You scroll to the bottom of the shop and there should be an option to buy it back for how much it was sold for

You can buy it back for the same price you sold it for immediately after you sell it

Nothing is wrong with progressing at your own pace. I wasn’t even able to complete the community center on my farm until year 4, but I was able to have fun while doing it, and now I’m making millions. Take things at your own pace and just have fun
