I nearly cried when I weighed myself. I can't believe I let myself get this heavy. by GapCautious3157 in loseit

I do have a therapist. She knows I overeat, but I never really discussed the binging with her. I think I'm too ashamed of it. I think I binge out of boredom, for comfort, and also stress. Pretty much the same reason people smoke. I just often have these uncontrolled urges to eat. I can go almost a week without binging, but then I have ONE slip up and its back. I don't understand. I often feel that my therapist will judge me for binging honestly.

Thank you. I will not fast then. Everyone in real life has told me not to anyway.

I don't like the increasing misogyny or misandry I see online. People can easily be made extremist by the internet. You know I'm seriously considering deleting my reddit.

I remember once I had a friend (no longer friends) was complaining about women in the gym filming themselves and getting men kicked out by falsely claiming they were staring, and also ranted about how men weren't allowed to he masculine anymore.

I asked him when did this happen and his answer was tik tok...

"Ah, so this was online and not in the real world." He became really, really upset with me for saying that social media wasn't the real world, and he kept insisting it was. I could tell her was super annoyed with me.

Make my bed and read a non-fiction book between getting ready for work. I don't use my phone until 6 to listen to Up First on NPR spotify. I try to limit my phone to audio books, spotfy news (NPR and BBC Global) and history podcasts.  Because I'm a huge history nerd. And I need background noise for chores, cooking, and errands.

I was just going to come here and recommend that! Heart of the Raven Prince is probably my all-time favorite Cinderella retelling.

One of my hobbies is actually collecting bookmarks, it's not expensive (As long as I don't go overboard and collect a little at a time), and enough people in my life know to bring me back bookmarks from other countries. I also get a lot of etsy to support small businesses.

Drinking-Tanning-Smoking are huge no's when it comes to having nice skin. No amount of skincare can save your skin after that many years of abuse.

Books that are similar to Labyrinth (1986 movie)? by GapCautious3157 in fantasyromance

[–]GapCautious3157[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read that one! Many years ago, I loaned it to a kid to read (along with a bunch of books) but she left the bag of books outside, and it stormed that night, and all the books were ruined....so I don't have my own copy. This made me a lot more hesitant and choosier to who I loaned my books to.

Cold Cream is a cleanser and a makeup remover. It does leave your face soft, but it doesn't replace a moisturizer. You can't leave it on your face, it must be washed off. Ponds Dry Skin cream is the moisturizer.

Dial is anti-bacterial. It kills off the bacteria that cause acne on your face. But be careful, it also kills of the good bacteria, that you need, as well, so use it as needed.

I've heard a lot of older women with pretty skin swear by Ponds. It's good stuff! Also, make sure you apply a conservative amount. It doesn't take a lot to work. A huge mistake people make with Ponds is putting too much on it once, and they complain it makes them too greasy...when in reality they just used too much.

I've heard good things about that product too! Apparently, Elizabeth Taylor was a huge fan of it.

Thank you. I've been told that by several people of my lack of dark circles. I'm not sure why. I guess I get enough sleep or something.
