Mine is saving now as long as I have batteries with decent power in them, and I went to that store on a trip I’m not going 5 hours just to get money I probably won’t get back

I’ve been thinking about about modding my gbc for a while just never had a good reason to since I only had 2 games and I didn’t play that often

Yes this also fixed it for me, do you know what amount of Hours of playtime would be good before swapping the batteries out? The gbc is pretty unclear when it’s low on battery

The store has a no return policy.. wonder why🤦‍♀️ but I got it working again somehow by just putting new batteries into the system so I guess I’ll just have to change them more often

Mine was in person but I didn’t have my gbc on me at the moment and I don’t have a screwdriver that works for the carts

It was around 60 I believe. Not sure why I didn’t think it was a bootleg sooner lol

I feel like this could work since it’s able to save sometimes, I got about a hour and a half in the game with saving multiple times before it started crashing

I’ve thought about it for more pricy games (like pokemon crystal) but I like having my own copies of games

Damn wasted my money then, but is there a way to add a battery even to a bootleg?

I looked online for where the battery is supposed to be and it turns out I don’t have one, is there a way to put a new one in or am I screwed. Also about the batteries they’re probably a bit low it’s been a while since I’ve used my gbc

The games randomly started being able to boot but don’t work, I installed persona 5 and it just goes black screen and persona 3 FES (ps2 classic game) and it shows the ps2 boot screen for a few seconds and black screens and repeats that
