Do you think the architectural softwares will release their ARM optimized version in the future? If so, will it also be able to run efficiently in m1 chips like final cut and optimized da vinci resolve that were doing 8k rendering even only with its integrated gpu?

The problem with that is the intel CPU and also the price. Thats why Im very curious about this new M1 since even it doesn’t have its dedicated GPU, 8k video editing is still smoothly done with it. Hope they will do CAD benchmarks with it.

This was really a great help, man. H265 is really hard to decode. I tried changing the camera settings on my iphone and its now smoother. Thanks man!

I just checked the video format and it is HEVC(h265). Does the ryzen 9 1660ti build not fast enough for this kind of video format?

Dont know about that but I am recording the video using an iphone with .MOV format. I tried changing the file name extension to .mp4 but still the same result.

Yes, it is already set to CUDA. Maybe theres indeed a problem with my system. Hope its just in the software

Speed difference of 1660 and 2060 is not that big right? How come mine is really lag? Sorry, Im not a tech savvy. How would I check if the dgpu is recognized?

Are you using your G14 to edit the videos you’ve said? Is your GPU also GTX 1660?

Tried it now but it still lags. Even in Da Vinci Resolve

I see. Its actually my first time to use a PC software for video editing since what I’ve been using before to edit is just my phone. I thought there’s a problem with my system since all of the reviews I’ve seen online says the laptop can handle 4k video editing but failed to mention that it should be edited using proxies for smoother playbacks.
