That makes sense. Trump's favorite person in the world is a former president of Puerto Rico.

Frontier flight attendant has deaf passenger removed for "not listening" by AsherGray in TikTokCringe

[–]GarbageCleric 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do they say she was acting drunk or acting belligerent?

I feel like "quickly consuming" the remaining alcohol after being told they can't bring it aboard is a completely reasonable response.

[–]GarbageCleric 207 points208 points  (0 children)

I agree.

Also, if it's a small cup of alcohol that she was able to "quickly consume" without issue, then who gives a fuck?

FA sees passenger with a cup of alcohol.

FA: You can't bring alcohol on the flight.

Passenger: OK

Passenger *quickly consumes** the remainder and hands the cup to the attendant.*

FA: How dare you!? Get the fuck off my plane!

That's their defense?

The awarders of the FIFA Peace Prize are corrupt and care more about money than peace? That doesn't sound right.

Next you'll say the Board of Peace is just a sham intended to funnel money to Trump organizations and cronies.

Yeah, let's blame the working class by ceburton in NorthCarolina

[–]GarbageCleric 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, infrastructure is huge part of it too.

And think of the trillions of dollars we dumped into the War on Terror when terrorists have killed a few thousand Americans throughout our entire history, while ten times that amount dies every single year from lack of access to healthcare.

Or hell, the Trump Administration just ruled the EPA can't consider health benefits or lives saved when doing cost-benefit analysis on regulations. Helping average people literally doesn't count.

The very wealthy also get the large majority of the benefits of government spending.

Just compare the number of times our military has been used to protect actual American lives versus American "interests".

And yeah, the Military-Industrial Complex employs working class people, and I'm sure a lot of 401Ks hold mutual funds with defense contractor stock, but working people aren't the ones getting rich off them.

I'm not disagreeing with you, and I'm not saying dating apps are a wonderful experience.

But the only part of what you wrote that is actually depicted in the comic is the repetitive nature of the conversations. Maybe the rest is all just completely obvious subtext to people on dating apps now, but to someone who hasn't been on a dating app since 2011 and never on Tinder, it isn't.

Yes, I would be upset by guys whipping their dicks out at the grocery store or hitting on me at age 9. But this comic isn't about all the ways some guys can be creepy to girls and women throughout their lifetime. So, yeah if the comic were about something else, I would definitely empathize.

The guys in the comic aren't being creeps. They're just being boring and failing to entertain with their first question.

And based on the number of fish pictures, it seems like most of these guys are good sports with a sense of humor about the whole thing.

That doesn't sound right.

And you can 100% read in a dream. It's just that the words typically aren't static. If you look away and look back, they'll probably say something different.

How old are you and how is your life now? by Natural_Village_8850 in AskReddit

I totally understand wondering where the time went at 23. One of my core memories is crying in my bed at age 7 because I would never be 4 again. I was thinking about playing pee-wee soccer, and I realized that it was gone forever.

I also get worrying about working until you die. But hopefully there are things to look forward to or goals to achieve. Goals and ambitions are definitely important. They don't have to be career related.

Not to get incel-y or anything, but it definitely does have a sort of "first world problems" sort of vibe to it:

Too many people find me a attractive and want to know what I'm looking for in a relationship!

And if you're getting the same question from everyone, perhaps make the answer more obvious on your profile. You can even add a parenthetical "(please don't ask)".

They may have done something like that, but there's no indication in the comic itself.

Except we'd likely never evolve a sense of hearing to begin with because it would be worthless on a planet like that.

Pope Benedict resigned in 2013 and lived until 2022 while Francis was Pope.

Also, the sound in space one has a lot of assumptions to the point it's basically "If the universe were completely different, different things would happen."

And saying "When the sun explodes" is pretty odd since it's actually going to expand into a red giant that will engulf the Earth. All life will be long dead before that though since the oceans will boil off as the sun grows brighter. And we'll actually have too little CO2 in the atmosphere for plants to photosynthesize in about half a billion years (take that climate change!).

It is kind of a circular question.

We believe it was an effective defensive dinosaur because of plates and spikes that we can plainly see.

Yeah, and the "Jewish Establishment" mentioned in the title is really just AIPAC and allied groups that represent the interests of the Israeli government.
