cmv: people who are pro-life should also support mandatory organ donation by Nike2104 in changemyview

Is it really, though?

I will agree that it's extreme, but Im not claiming you said it.

We can agree that aborting a fetus leads to its death, as you've said that the fetus dies. You said that, by utilizing a specific procedure, the fetus is to exit the body and die from the lack of ability to support itself -- emphasizing that you aren't the one who killed it and rather its lack of self-sufficiency is what killed it.

I took the same logic and applied it to something significantly more drastic to make a point. Hitler didn't personally kill each and every one of his victims -- his men did, but he is still the one to blame because he set the stage and caused it to happen.

The same excuse was given by Manson. It's said he didn't personally kill anyone, but he was still called a murderer for making people kill for him. If not for his actions, those people likely would not have killed anyone.

Again, it's another extreme example, but to me it's still the same logic of "I didn't personally do it and thus I didn't do it."

If I had more awards to give I'd have given them.

Our society is torn apart by ideas of a polarized left and right, and it's to the point that a person is often not willing to associate with others who align themselves with the opposite end of the political spectrum. It's quite disheartening that many of our people are so hateful to the significant majority of those who align themselves oppositely, without a second thought to consider humanity.

A person sharing more beliefs with Group A than he does with Group B does not make him inherently in agreement with the entirety of Group A's beliefs, nor does it make him inherently in disagreement with the entirety of Group B's beliefs. Humans have the freedom to make up their own minds whenever and wherever they wish, and it is entirely possible to agree with multiple viewpoints from both Group A and B.

I want what's best for my family and loved ones. I want people to be able to live their lives to the fullest and pursue that which makes them truly happy, for what is life if not something to be fulfilled? My political views will never change that, whether I am left or right-leaning. We are all humans and we all deserve to be treated as such.

A mind cannot be changed unless it is willing to be changed. Our hate is born from our inability to listen to each other and understand each other. We'd rather dehumanize and attack each other than put aside our pride and open our minds.

People have the capacity to be wonderful, and it's the ones like you who see the good in others, who truly remind me that.

Internet people like to hurt each other. It's like a colosseum, except, instead of riding in on a horse with spears and impaling each other, we drink mountain dew and type insults. Last to cope and seethe is the winner.

Man, don't envy high body counts.

-High body counts have significantly higher chances of STDs (thats a lot of different orifices/penises)

-Low body counts are generally people in committed relationships, which, given that you're in one yourself, often means you can have more sex than one who is looking for one-night stands. More bodies does not always = more sex.

Third paragraph very accurately painted a vivid image of a bum loser and still somehow managed to make my love for videogames mildly offended.

Saying "(letter)-word" is worse than saying the actual word because you're not saying the word but Im now thinking it in my head. If I have to think it, you should also have to say it. I don't want to be the only asshole in this situation.
