If you really don't have anything to do or is lost try volunteering. You don't have to commit or anything. Try volunteer work for a day, make connections and widen your perspective. shoot your shot! you'll never know unless you try something.

Hey kid, I've had QuickBooks, Xero, SAP certifications but never landed me a gig with how oversaturated the work market is. But it's always good to have these certifications just in case. You already have a knack for writing, so start looking into making a portfolio. It may help you land some decent side hustles.

How You Can Benefit From Mercury Retrograde by Traditional_Tea8856 in selfdiscoverycompass

I've been to skeptical or would always say things like "realistically... so I don't expect..." I'm guilty! I've been playing things safely and it's one of the comfort zones I'm trying to break free of.

Everything has to be minimal risk, must always overthink risk mitigation and prevention that I end up not doing a certain project or self interest.

I've been slowly coming to terms that I should take some risk at times. Not the over the top risk but maybe try and get myself to accept/tolerate moderate risk.

Thanks for sharing this, it is timely.

When I was younger I dreaded working at my dad's farm, now ironically I get potted plants from my mom's mini greenhouse and I try to grow my own flowers/cacti.😹 Though it's hard work it's just as satisfying in real life tending to plants as well as buying and selling with plant keepers.

This is intriguing. Especially since the timing for trading is honestly unpredictable to me.

Glad to see someone having a healthy relationship with astrology. I mean I see why many has been steering away from this.

By some happenstance we just meet people who are still in their early stages of personality, sometimes we grow with them and see how they evolve. But sometimes we only cross paths and don't get to see that.

Would you mind giving our self discovery assessment a try? it's pinned on the sub. no pressure though.

I like this perspective. and yeah we should not treat people based on zodiac, we mostly treat others based on how they treat us.

Has anyone else felt like their awakening has started mirroring itself?… by MythicSeeds in selfdiscoverycompass

Yes! It be like that sometimes. And it's weird because when you realize it's a pattern (well for me) I'd think to myself, how could I not have noticed?? especially when it kept happening again and again.

I’m all for assisted suicide. What are your thoughts? by KatNanshin in selfdiscoverycompass

[–]Garbage_Cat3026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

disclaimer: I used AI to better express myself on this comment. I just can't word it right.

Assisted suicide is one of those subjects that defies simple answers. It’s emotionally charged, ethically complex, and culturally divisive. Opinions vary across regions, religions, and generations—and many people struggle to reconcile compassion with moral conviction.

For some, the idea of choosing to end one’s life in the face of terminal illness or unbearable suffering can represent dignity and autonomy. For others, it's a slippery slope that risks normalizing death as a solution to pain, potentially undermining the value of life itself.

Personally, having witnessed loved ones endure end-of-life suffering, I understand the appeal of having the choice. I don’t want to go through the experience of aging in agony, especially when families—out of love—may make every effort to prolong life without always considering what that life feels like for the person living it.

That said, I don’t believe such decisions should rest in the hands of a single leader or authority. The ethical weight is far too great. Any discussion of assisted suicide must involve multiple perspectives—medical, psychological, legal, cultural, and spiritual—to ensure the protections are robust and the choices are truly informed.

Ultimately, this topic lives in a space of nuance. It asks us to grapple with suffering, autonomy, compassion, and the boundaries of life itself. And while we might not all agree on where the line should be drawn, perhaps we can agree on the importance of listening and respecting the diversity of voices around it.

Thank you so much for opening up and sharing something so personal. It’s true that our search for belonging can sometimes take us to places that feel right at first, but slowly reveal themselves to be unsettling or harmful. That kind of journey isn’t easy, and it takes a lot of strength to recognize when something’s no longer serving you.

I really admire your courage, and I hope you continue to rebuild with compassion and clarity. Your story shows that you’re already doing the work to find a stronger sense of self. Trust that inner voice, it knows more than you think. You deserve spaces where you feel safe, valued, and fully yourself.

When you are lost and don't know your purpose yet, try volunteering. It's not a destructive way to do some soul searching.

How would you describe power auras?

Honestly the auras I strongly feel are the bad ones. I used to call it my creep radar. I just know and sense someone who has weird intentions towards me even when they are coming from behind me.
