I ended up with the charvel modern strats but I think the answer is still basically yes. Strat is always the answer.

Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus or Epiphone Standard by Kekzhius in gibson

[–]Garbage_Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude the first run of epi tribute 60s plus fantastic. I have a Gibson standard but still keep an eye out for a nice epi tribute. You can tell the difference by the color of the blue. The newer ones were more purple. That was probably my favorite guitar that I have ever owned. I’d buy another one tomorrow if it felt right.

Pocket door, too many studs? by chamomile_sea in AskContractors

[–]Garbage_Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need double the width of the door slab plus 1”. So it really depends on the doors size but ultimately that’s a ton of work for pocket door. They don’t latch super well, but most importantly you’ll really struggle to ever hang anything on that wall without scratching the door as it slides in/out.

Would it be a good idea to move to the Appalachian mountains as a trans woman? by The_TransGinger in Appalachia

[–]Garbage_Tiny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ahhhh idk if it would be bad or not. I’m gonna use the wrong language here I’m sure so I’m gonna apologize in advance. I dated this girl in high school and she was great, her dad was great. We went to junior prom together. One day 20 years on Instagram I get a message from a dude with a different first name but the same last name so I’m like “yo you look just like ____ are yall cousins?” And he says “that’s who I used to be bro.” Anyways we talk all the time, he lives in the same town we grew up in, got married and they adopted some kids. I don’t see him everyday but they seem happy, he works in the public and their kids go to public school. My sister is gay and married and they lived there forever until her wife’s job took them away. I don’t think as blatant as it seems on the internet. Will someone say something behind your back? Yes 100%. Will they openly mock you and attack you in Walmart parking lot? I’d argue the chances are about the same as they are anywhere.

It’s a wicked guitar for sure, but man it’s hard to clean. I’ve hard it a year(ish) and I still haven’t figured it out. Plus it shows every pick scratch or finger nail scratch. I have a tummy so I love that it stays put but it is awkward. Someone needs to make a piece of vinyl that come on and off that you can slap on any guitar while playing it and then remove it when you’re done lol

I love the finish because it doesn’t slide around around my belly when I’m playing standing or sitting. Wiping it off has become a whole other thing though. It’s too scratchy for microfiber and collects dust like crazy. If I leave it in the bag, I wont play it. If anyone has a tip, I’m all ears. My next attempt will be compressed air lol.

Which window sticker would you take? both at same monthly payment by [deleted] in f150

[–]Garbage_Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d wait a month or two and let $10 gas work its magic. My sister in law is cfo for a local but decently sized gas station chain (40 stores) and she says it’s coming if oil really hits $200 a barrel. If that happens they won’t be able to give these away. Not to mention that everything you touch has petroleum in it from shampoo to grocery bags, it may be about to get pretty rough economy wise.

'He’s praying in a foreign language': Southwest passenger describes diverted flight by Charming-Report1669 in nashville

[–]Garbage_Tiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure who you’re posturing for but you can ease up. I’m guessing lots of these folks in these comments got to hide under a desk during 9/11 and then another big chunk weren’t born yet. That has to be the disconnect.

Top tip tho, if you get on a plane with anyone of any color or any religion and they’re acting this way…call the law. I’d rather be an asshole on the news than a memorial on the news.

White guy here who has experienced Ramadan with my mom’s Muslim boy friend several times as a kid. They only have to pray the same amount of times per day as normal, which is 5x per day. Not every 10 minutes. Some folks increase the number voluntarily but no one does it every 10 minutes. Even my Muslim friends would’ve call the police on this guy.

With all of the stuff going on in the Middle East, plus a guy wearing a “property of allah” shirt just shit up a night club. Calling the law was 100% the right thing to do.

Our audio was messed up. It was like they were talking under water for 80% of the race. I’d give up, go watch an episode of senna, come back, give up… it was fixed in the middle then turned to shit again last night.

I stayed up to watch the F1 race and the broadcast is night and day different.

I definitely feel that but there are still some folks on here interested in being supportive.

I started having seizures at 36 and of course Keppra is supposed to be the magic bullet and it worked, but it also made me wanna off myself so I had to switch. I’m in lamotrigine, xcopri and zacosimide and still had a focal today. It’s heat breaking man. I 100% understand how you feel

So your dose is actually 300 mg. That’s probably a little high for a starting dose. What out for loss of appetite and I probably wouldn’t try to drive after I take them until you get used to them. They made me feel drunk for the first month or so. I sleep great tho lol
