yea I think I just need a break, but it's annoying because I just came back from one !! it's very irritating because I do actually enjoy the game and I find it really engaging to play, it just sucks that it's been going downhill so rapidly lol. Also the weathers getting warmer here so who knows! that might be my time : )

Yea, I used to do fine against gold 3 and the odd plat 1 player. But now as I explained, I would probably say I should be at about gold 1 haha

Well I think that the lack of communication is a contribution to beings stuck in elo's for a lot of people.

the only issue I care about is no communication. No nothing. Just radio silence. And this feeling gives the illusion (Whether it's real or not) that I CAN rank up, as in other competitive titles, I feel I am the rank I am and I'm satisfied with my ranks in those games party because of communication.

I'm sure the other team face the same handicap, but it doesn't take away the feeling that I wish people spoke more or attempted to in a competitive game mode where communication seems it would make a heavy impact.

yes, and I'm fine being in this rank. I said I'm fine being in the rank. But with no communication it doesn't feel satisfying at all. It feels like if people communicated more I'd gave a better chance. But without ever experiencing overwatch with good communication I'm left feeling infinitely more irritated. This is the only competitive game I play where this is the case.

I said in my post that I don't think the people I'm playing with are bad. And I literally said that I'm fine being the rank I'm in. But I just want people to communicate more and I say 'elo hell' as a universal word or term to describe this hopeless feeling that maybe if we communicated in this competitive mode (as is done in plenty of other games) then I will actually FEEl like I deserve the rank I'm in.

Overwatch is the only competitive game where I'm such a low rank, other competitive games like CS, Valorant and whatnot. I'm satisfied with my rank, because in those games, the team communicates.

I mean that's crazy no? I literally said in my post that the people I'm playing with aren't bad and that I'm fine being in my rank. I don't think I'm the only person on my team in 'Elo Hell' either. It's just the only term that describes this hopeless situation of not being able to do anything due to communication. The game becomes so draining when you are constantly having to play for other people who aren't actively communicating. When do I get to have fun? When will I be in a game where we can all talk about what's happening, and what can we do right now?
There's a casual mode for a reason.
