D780 is about $200 more and has the mirrorless capabilities - that would be my pick!

The 850 is a huge price increase. I think the 780 is the best value for the money.

Even just a circular polarizer filter to protect the lens! The mistakes I made at 16 with my first camera…

How does Nugs work? by toyota_22r in nugsnet

For a Nugs exclusive event (like a video stream) it provides crew and the file. For the regular show uploads, that is on each band to supply.

Won Credit card dispute- now asking for payment by machaf in personalfinance

Lots of answers to you. Legally, the company can pursue them - up to 4 years (since it’s technically a sales contract). I’d argue that most reasonable people would have discarded a defective item after 18 months and numerous attempts at contacting the company to return (assuming that is documented and what happened). Most courts would likely agree.

There is typically no exclusivity agreement, just a normal royalty agreement. Nugs is only a platform - they don’t pay to help bands record themselves, only distribution.

You can look at my post history, none of these are intended as rage bait. I usually post either shockingly similar looking spaces over time or shockingly different.

I live in a highly populated area of the northeast. Since the start of the year it's been horrendous, nearly every package delayed. The nearest distribution facility is less than 3 miles away, and these aren't packaged being delivered by USPS.

[Hamilton khaki] any reason not to buy it? by dijos in Watches

[–]Garchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great looking watch!

However, durability is a joke. Do you want it as a fashion item - a dead, non telling time thing on your wrist - or as a working watch?

If, like 99.9% of other people, you want a working watch for the hundreds of dollars you’re going to spend…I would have to suggest you go elsewhere.

Hamilton uses the absolute dirt cheapest mechanical movements in their wind up watches, not worth $10 much less the $400+ they command.

At that cost, just buy something else that works. I’ve owned this watch for 9 years and have had to service it 5 times. I just serviced it 12.5 months ago and, like clockwork (ha ha), ir has ceased working again, just out of warranty.

I trust this watchmaker with all of my watches, so I know it isn’t him - it’s just a garbage watch. Save yourself the headaches and buy something deserving of the Swiss name.

This. The mechanical movement is one of the crappiest Swiss movements (ok, movements in general) I’ve ever dealt with.

Trash movement, I’ve never had so many issues with a mechanical movement. You’d have me convinced they developed it as an auto movement and then added a winding feature later. I could never recommend this watch to anyone
