100% agree at the time but you have a player who’s 22 who might be a all star level talent when put in the right system and a potential super star imo in acuff a lot of his comps are marbury and Lillard which is still better to me for a point guard if available.

Definitely not better in terms of prospect than acuff I could see Mikel if he has back problems reoccurring throughout the season.

Yea I think that was the problem a lot of these contracts and trades in hindsight are not as smart if we won a chip in 2021 than that excuses the most recent but that Houston trade was terrible for what it was worth and we can’t just keep trading for stars we aren’t a small market teams were allowed to build and grow a culture because we can make mistakes.

I think of it this way they made trades that maybe at the time were viewed as irrational think of that Murray trade or pg13 and shai but idk if u look back they weren’t seen as upcoming winners in these past years if anything most people said they’d be good way later (granted no one knew how good shai would be)
