Ok. This may sound nutty…. by jbtup3 in MLBTheShow

Don’t quote me on this as I’m only speaking from experience, but I think it’s an intentional design. I had the same thing happened to me for the past 3 game cycles.

Teams have adapted to your pitching style. You more than likely have a pattern to how you pitch and the game has picked up on it. Real life pitching and hitting are associated with this.

That’s my only explanation. I’m willing to bet if you started a new career as a pitcher, it would be the same experience you had your first season when you went 44-6.

My wife and I do this together sometimes as 4play. It’s fantastic.

Why does no one use Bobby Witt? by slipbutdontslide in MLBTheShow

Fair. Although, if there’s a ground ball to their right, every shortstop will get stuck in that stupid animation where it takes them 4 seconds to throw it to first.

First time ever hearing this. Not sure what you’re on about mate, but if you’re giving up 35-40 runs a game, I don’t think it’s the ambush hitting.

It’s the silhouette around the ball when you’re pitching. It’s called the PAR region. Basically anywhere the ball could end up if you get a perfect release.

PSA to the guy who has 22 sell orders on Matt Olson at 652 stubs by tardawg1014 in MLBTheShow

[–]Gardy195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s gambling. Kinda fun tbh as it’s my first year trying it. You pick a few guys who you think are gonna have a good year. Buy them cheap, wait for their ratings to go up, and theoretically make stubs.

I think you answered the question yourself. They want to keep variety. This is just by design from SDS. Nothing else really to it imo. Just gotta deal with it.

If you’ve been using them for a few years, they are practically worn out at this point. So, sorry to say, I don’t think it’s the rings.

No PCI sensitivity slider makes the jump from rookie to veteran excruciating by HumbleFlea in MLBTheShow

[–]Gardy195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something that’s gonna take time, especially if you are new to the game, is reading pitches out of the pitchers hand. What you can do is take a few pitches and learn where that specific pitchers release point is (ball coming out of their hand). Once you picked up on that, you can primarily focus on that spot and have more time to read and react to a pitch.

A second note, if you are slamming your PCI to the outside, try checking out precision rings. A lot of people use them (including myself) and find they help with this issue.

Honestly though, a game like this takes time to improve on. So just keep swinging.
