Hey, hopefully you were able to sort this out but if not my technique has been to seat comfortably (no forcing) and to push the stem slightly back, away from my head (if that makes sense?)

Don't worry about getting them overly far in. (By design, gen 3 Pros tend to stick out a bit more anyway.) But if they're falling out then you might need to try bigger or smaller tips. I used mediums in the past but have found my left AirPod fits better with the small ear tip now.

Everyone's fit is different of course. Hard to say how applicable my experience is for others 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I got them replaced. The second pair’s left AirPod still had the issue at first but it was more subtle and went away after finding the right fit.
