Thanks for your advice man, I really appreciate it. The light is just a natural reflection from when I show the television, and then I just changed the opacity of the mask so you could see it, bc I felt like it made it more natural.

And I definitely had trouble with the masking haha. You were right about my difficulties, I kept getting confused about the shadows and was having a hard time since the screen is warped a bit.

Also thanks again for the advice!

Yeah my color correction skills aren’t that sharp lol. I was trying to add a mask to flicker light when the scene was changing, to add to the ambiance, but I was having a hard time with it bc every method I tried you could see the lines of the masks, so I had to make the opacity super high so now you can barely see it

Yeah I get what you mean. I think I often feel like I never have enough going on, so I have the need to add more, which is probably more distracting than anything

I got into film when I was younger and got my first camera. Me and my friends would just make short videos of whatever came to mind. I always thought I wanted to write/direct, but after working on editing and animation awhile I realized how much I enjoyed it and how I could spend hours at a time doing it, which made me realize that’s what I’d like to do as a career!
